I think this book had something to do with a dragonfly pond on the cover? A girl goes to an unconventional boarding school during ww2. The room is described at very white and simple with just a bed, desk, and chair. One of her teachers is supposed to be a nude model which causes controversy. She meets a boy who is a prince or something and they have a moment at a pond. She walks her neighbors dog for money, shes the only one willing because the dog is a german breed and it’s england during ww2.
