I'm going to go for 350 books in 2021 :O)

While I enjoyed challenging myself to 75K in 2020, I'm going to roll it back a bit to 60,000. I don't think I'd have hit 75 if I hadn't spent 9 months working at home, and while I'm currently still working at home half the time, I think that will change at some point this year.

I am going to try to stretch myself to 40,000 this year.

I only made it to 50k last year even though I listened to 90 books. I'll stick with 50k this year also.

I’ve never tracked my reading for a year. So, I think I’ll try for 50k minutes. Not sure how that will break down as a number of books. Somewhere around 90 to 100. As I listen to audio books instead of watching TV, I’m thinking I can make it. Guess I’ll find out. 😳

I have no idea how many minutes I listen to in a year and this might be fun to find out. I would like to participate. Can someone please create a Personal Challenge Log Page for me? Thanks

I love listening to books on Audible, but I have not tracked the numbers of hours.

The audio length may be listed here on Goodreads for the Audible editions of the book, in the description. Otherwise, you can get it from the Audible site.

At the beginning of the year, we challenged members to track their listening minutes during the year. Now it's time to see your results! You may begin posting your results on and after January 1.

Post your total listening hours in 2021 from your personal challenge logs and let's see who had the highest number of minutes logged for the year. Deadline for posting your results is January 7. We will select the winner on January 8.

I logged 131,779 for 2021

I only listened to 17,561 minutes, it is around the same as the year before. But I didn’t keep very good track of my books in the last months of that year... and that was my first year since I only started listening to books during corona times.
Now I’m going to think of a goal for this year.
