I'm not sure if it counts as "broken" but the cover of "Library of the Unwritten" by AJ Hackwith looks like a book that's been punched through.
I will be reading House Rules by Jodi Picoult. On the cover a child is drawing in the sand with a broken stick.
Angie Abdou, Between: intersection of an overworked and perhaps unhappy wife in British Columbia and her nanny from the Philippines. On the cover is a broken dinner plate.
I have chosen 'Crooked House' by Agatha Christie as my book with something broken on the cover. The cover has a house with broken windows.
I read Know My Name by Chanel Miller for this prompt. The cover displays "kintsugi," golden repair, when pieces of broken pottery are put back together with a golden binding agent. I love the idea that "the technique shows us that although an object cannot be returned to its original state, fragments can be made whole again.
I selected People Like Her by Ellery Lloyd because I had it handy and it has a picture of a broken cell phone on it.

My book for this prompt was The Break by Marian Keyes. The letter B of the title was broken. I liked the fact that the title actually referred to a break (in a marriage).
Could ripped and broken kind of be the same thing? My hold for The Silent Patient The Silent Patient just came in, and I was trying to figure out how it would fit in...
