Yes! Little Women is a gem! I'll recommend Pride and Prejudice. Definitely not a soppy romance story, Austen's style of writing prevents that, though does make it a bit hard to follow. But I did get used to it so it was easy later on, and it felt good to put it down having learnt something new!(I sound like a teacher or something lol)

Wuthering Heights was AWESOME! I also really like The Great Gatsby. What do you consider classic? Older than 25 years or older than 100?

A beginners guide through the tragic and hearty world of English literature.
I'm just going to go ahead and recommend my all-time favourite Little Women. Imo Jane Austen does a wonderful job with her characters and imparts morals without any stuffiness or being preachy.
