Play Book Tag discussion

A powerful family outlaws another powerful family in Asia. The temples dedicated to the Order of the Pure Moon continue to provide sanctuary to any and all in need and are promptly destroyed including the murder of the Abbotts and nuns/votaries by the family in charge. Guet Imm is a lone survivor form her temple and takes a job in a coffeehouse where she defended by a rude customer by a bandit. She chooses to join the bandit group leading to an unexpected adventure.

The world building was interesting and I do like the idea of the bandits. It was strong on messages of identity and inclusion, more so than even the actual action plot. I could have used a bit less message and more action but it was thoughtful and the cover is gorgeous.
