What's your poison? Print books, eBooks, or audiobooks?

message 2: by Mikei (new)

Mikei (emjai) Definitely print but I have a nice Kindle collection.

I stopped doing print books in 2011. I'm doing book box subscriptions in 2021 which will help me get back into print books. Let's see if I like them again. I love, love, love audiobooks!! They make reading easier when I need to do other things like type this post! I have my headphones in right now listening to The Wrong Gentleman on audible.

Same :)

Jen (kestrylle) I love the ease and convenience of e-books but I don't like the fact that I don't truly "own" it as I would a physical copy. I want to start collecting nicer editions of some of my favorite books. I have gotten into audiobooks the last couple of years and I also love them.

I didn't think about buying physical copies of my favorite books! Let me head over to Amazon lol

Julie (jeme3) | 5 comments First choice is print. Ebooks aren't the same for me, though I love the ease and convenience of downloading a new book in the middle of the night if I need a new book. The biggest problem I have with them is when I finish a good book, I want to be able to put it in someone's hands and say, "You must read this! It's so good!" I usually give away books when I'm finished with them. If they come back to me, that's fine, but I like to send them out into the universe for others to enjoy. And that way my house doesn't get too overwhelmed with books. While I was recovering from my stroke and my vision was really messed up, I did audio books, which worked well at the time, and I've done audiobooks while on long car trips, but my favorite is paper, by far.

Theresa Berry (thetthinks) I’m subscribed with BOTM but I have a Kindle and iPad collection of ebooks. 😆

Emily Powell Carpenter (emsepoca) At this point, I'm in a serious relationship with all three :) I love print books, but I can't beat the ease of ebooks on my phone (and sometimes my original nook) and doing audiobooks in the car helps me get through two books at once without mixing them up.
