Like for instance Clare Connelly's Blackmailed by the Spaniard made me absolutely bawl, because the heroine was so hopeful and tried so hard even with everything going to shit around her.
I have just completed Mistress Under Contract It actually felt more than a HP and I absolutely loved it. Don't know why but I got tears in my eyes and it instantly reminded me of this thread!!!
this Susan Napier novel made me cry - especially becoz of H's son who had a disability. heroine has suffered too in the past and hence she forms a bond with his young son. The Lonely Season
