I am so ignorant about indie horror...but I see you have an episode from 2018 on this so I know what I'm listening to tomorrow!
This one fit a few categories, new to me, and definitely had freezer moments in it, but I think I'll put it here since I know she's such an awesomely indie author. Dear Laura by Gemma Amor. Will definitely be reading more by her.
I just finished Red Station, by Kenzie Jennings. I think she's an indie author, but not 100% sure. The book was great though. Very short and bloody and bonkers. It's on kindle unlimited for those interested.
I'm planning to read She Said Destroy by Nadia Bulkin, which the podcast covered in one of the short story collection episodes. I believe the publisher Word Horde is considered small press, and this collection sounds intriguing.
Reading Human Flesh by Nick Clausen I was hoping this would fall into under 200 GR Reviews but sadly they have 228 as of my posting this haha
