One day Moonflower and her parents were found by a warrior from Meadowclan, and he brought them to the meadow where he and his clan lived. Moonflower and her family joined Meadowclan and took new names, and Moonflower eventually became a warrior

Well, in the warrior code tab if you read through there is no rule that healers can't have kits.
