VIRTUAL Mount TBR Reading Challenge 2021 discussion

It's full steam ahead on the Donald Duck series that I am reading, just waiting for the last 2 books of the reprints of the comics from 1959, and I'll add them (book 2 &5). Since it as of 1959 is 7 books in a year, just 10 years is 70 books and it is published 19 more years so far.

I'll also read of library books Norwegian books that I'm not interested in buying.

I found out after I got the book home that I have read it before, in 2015. I thought the title seemed familiar. It was only after I saw the cover that I remebered reading it before. I first saw this book in a used books shop with friends, and noted down the title to check the library.

I am still waiting for Donald Duck 1959 vol 5, since it has been 3 weeks since I ordered it I ordered a new copy.

Got 3 other books at the library today about Norwegian immigrants to the US and Canada.

Have finally got all 7 Donald Duck books for 1959, and since book 1 & 7 has to be returned at Feb 1st at the latest ( got them first) I'll be reading mainly comics this last week of January.

Also I'll start Farvel Norge: Utvandrerne til Amerika by Sverre Mørkhagen since all 3 books in this series is 500-600 pages each.

I am now finished with all the library books I'll read in January (11).

#12 is the 4th of 5 Inspector Erlendur Series that I haven't read yet, so I have 3 to read before it.

The books by Sverre Mørkhagen will have to wait for later in the year. At least they have them at my local library.

Since I only have one book left in the Inspector Erlandur series and I have used a non-fiction book by Monica Kristensen for a reading challenged, I decided to read her crime novels from Svalbard in March. I have book 2 & 4 from when the second-hand book store where I worked was still open, and borrowed the other 3 at the library, picking up the last (#5) today since it was not in on my last visit.

has been on my TBR wishlist for a while and in stead if buying it on sale, I reserved at the library.

I though I would finish "Hellige dyr" last week, by to much sport on the telly, so I'll be reading some Donald Duck this week since 3 of the books have to be retuned on Friday 12th.

I am going to the library today to pick up 6 books of polar history, 5 of them children books though.
