Fast, Free and Flying
The new book is the sixth in the County Durham Quad series. That's Co. Durham, UK; I know there's a Durham in Canada too. I always have the setting in my mind as I write: sheep. hills, streams, a landscape pockmarked by old quarries and lead mines but I don't actually describe the scenery very much. So, for readers (or anyone) who would like to see what a beautiful landscape my gay quad wake up to each morning, I'm uploading a series of videos to YouTube - me reading extracts over stunning drone and road footage. Just uploaded the second video that displays the stunning setting of the County Durham Quad series along with me reading an extract. This time, Book 4, Body Parts and Mind Games, is featured. And just uploaded the video for another of the books: book 3, Ace in the Picture. The footage is stunning. (At least, I think it is) The extract focuses on an incident in a quarry and there are a lot of quarry shots. It's the quarry used in the film Beowulf.
