sorry i meant that in order to make a section/topic on goodreads, like a section for the next chapters, i need to write in the first comment so i can start the chat. i'm still around chapter eleven, but this is in case other people are ahead of me :)
OH MY GOSH THOSE TWO LAST CHAPTERS HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT!!!! Actually, chapter 16-20 had me in awe. First, is Sophie alive? AND I KNEW LOCKE AND TARYN WERE GOING TO BE TOGETHER OR COURT. I JUST HAD A FEELING. I am going through so many emotions right now I cannot even comprehend. And Jude killed Valerian. Although I am ecstatic, I fear for Jude’s life.
When Jude said, “If you hurt me, I wouldn’t cry. I would hurt you back” to Locke, I really hope she does. Because LOCKE AND TARYN?? Taryn heard Jude say she likes him and how they kissed. I don’t even know why Taryn didn’t tell Jude or give her a warning, like “Hey stop kissing him hes about to be ur brother in law”.
Also, I saw this tumblr post this morning explaining that the book Jude stole from Cardan, the Alice in Wonderland book depicts Judes situation accurately. Alice is figuring out her way into a magical world and she’s lonely and scared. They said that’s why he wrote her name a lot on a piece of paper that was stuck inside the book, because it reminded him of her!! HOW CUTE. But when they were dancing at the coronation and he put his hand on her waist!! I was swoon.
Now... chapter 20 literally had a myriad of happenings. I just... I can’t believe everyone died except Balekin and Cardan. I wonder why Judes entire family left without her. I wish i didn’t have class soon so i could read more. This book is so good!!! I heard the second one is the best so i’m excited to read that after this.

oh my god!! Cardan just has my whole heart, haha. he's just, the way he's disgusted that he even thinks of her is just a lot for me to love him. I know. I'm ridiculously in love with him haha.
oh yes. Second is actually my fav in this trilogy. it's so fast paced too. and it was just so shocking. most of the royal family butchered in a day!

she is the tortured kind of mortal, hehe. and she's scared to death

omg yes! I felt so bad for Jude. She was exhausted from the entire series of events from Prince Dain making her stab her hand, Valerian attacking her, Jude killing him, training with Ghost, killing a spy, then going back to bury the body. Then hours later, she had to attend the coronation. JUDE IS SO STRONG

in this case I'm just like Jude! I can't forgive him but I can also not hate him. he's just too nice and honourable. And again, it was honour for which he killed his wife's husband I think. and he was asking her not to run away but I can imagine why he killed her as she ran. it's all he knew to do. like Jude punched that guy in the mortal world by instinct.
And I can also imagine why Jude's mom left. she couldn't live in that world anymore ... it's sad :/
