I just signed up on the website. Looking forward to my first readathon! Found out about this from the ladies at GIRLXOXO! I'm with Ashly - I hope to read a book a week minimum. I've already read 6 this month and am on my 7th (which is probably a record for me as an adult!).
Ok I've got my TBR! I will not be reading solely Black authors and I will not be reading every book on this list. lol. But it's a good place to start!Possible TBR
E-Book (mostly NetGalley ARCs):
Audio:
Physical:
Welcome back to our previous participants and to the newcomers. Let's have some reading fun!
Nice line-up, Elyse!
Nice line-up, Elyse!

and
, both NetGalley ARCs. Black Panther published last Tuesday and Ikenga publishes tomorrow and is audio.

Kate wrote: "Where is it we need to make our start post? Its been so long since i’ve done a readathon i just want to make sure i do it right x"Your blog or here! :) I don't have a blog so I use the threads that Michelle makes to state my readathon intentions.
Working from home due to the snowstorm (we got about 10 inches and it's barely snowing now, hopefully it's done) so I ended up finishing listening to
. It was a really good middle grade fantasy novel. Now I'm listening to another NetGalley audio ARC
.
Sweet!! Ok so my intentions for the ReadAThon are to finish book 5 of the Skullduggery Pleasant series, then read books 6 - 9 (inclusive) before moving on to one of Conn Iggulden’s series. I read books 1 - 4 in January but maybe I can get the remaining done this month... we’ll have to see x
Just finished my first book for the RAT!! Skullduggery Pleasant #5 Mortal Coil by Derek Landy. On to my next book Skullduggery Pleasant #6 Death Bringer by Derek Landy
I listened to
on Tuesday while working from home during a snowstorm. Then I listened to
which I finished yesterday and now I'm listening to
.I finished reading
yesterday and read
today and now I'm reading
.
I finished listening to
and finished reading
yesterday. I started reading
yesterday. I started listening to
today. It was the 24in48 Readathon this weekend so I read a lot and I did manage the 24 hours!
Looks like a lot of great reading going on. Keep it up!
The prize page is posted...link in the top of this thread.
Now I'll share what I'm reading....
My six month read-along (section 2 for the RAL):
My book club book for Feb:
Going to start this, as the series starts this weekend (it's gigantic so no way I'll finish it before the first few episodes, at least!):
And this one before the Netflix series (movie?) on Feb 17:
The rest:
We shall see how it goes. :)

I've been listening to
but I've moved offices at work and now I'm alone so I can listen to audiobooks all day! Woohoo! But that means I can't listen to anything that I have to pay 100% attention to. Which you have to for The City We Became. So I started listening to
. Nonfic/biographies are easier to half-listen to because you're not really listening to a story, you won't miss anything critical. And I'll continue with The City We Became during my commutes/errands/cooking. I'm almost done reading
which published yesterday. It's really good!
