Niharika✩ (doesitreallymatterpeople) | 223 comments Hello everyone! Hope you are having a really bookish day. This year, I've set my goal to be 75 books. I'm planning to be very organized in my own way. It's going to be a huge list of 75 books and seemingly more. Call me over-confident if you want, but I go by this quote- "Experience is the best teacher." I'm talking from my experience in how fast I read.

75 books seem very little to me compared to my bookshelf (the one at home). But even though I read a lot, I sincerely hope I can top my goal. I've currently read 16 out of 75 books.

Niharika✩ (doesitreallymatterpeople) | 223 comments I'm going to reach out and read longer books of, say, 500 pages. because I realize I read too fast for me to keep up.

Niharika✩ (doesitreallymatterpeople) | 223 comments I've finished it. It was really good. I'm not going to go into detail about it, but here is my review if you want to know...

The Storm Keeper's Island (Storm Keeper, #1) The Storm Keeper's Island by Catherine Doyle

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fionn and Tara are going away to Arranmore, an island alive by magic. This is Fionn's first time, though Tara has been there already.

Imagine your sister leaving you out of things, telling her 'boyfriend' things that make you want to slap her hard across the face, being left out time and time again... no wonder Fionn hates Tara. But in the process of saving her life, he uncovers the biggest secret of his family.

Who will be the next Storm Keeper of Arranmore?

Connect the Stars Connect the Stars by Marisa de los Santos

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stars, for me, symbolize a lot of stuff. So the title got me excited. The cover gave the silhouettes of two children, one boy and one girl. This made me think that there would be two protagonists, and I was right!

Plot Summary:

Audrey Alcott can sense lies. Whenever someone lies, she knows it. When she enters middle grade, the lies seemed to grow. Even her best and only friend betrays her. So her parents decide to send her on a six-week hiking trip through the desert.

Aaron Archer remembers whatever he sees. He's very smart and can pull out information any time he wants. One thing he's not good at is feelings. His parents send him to the same wilderness camp as Audrey.

They are paired up with Kate, a girl with problems at home, and Louis, whose all five senses are heightened because of a disorder. They are looked after by Jare, who, they are convinced, is a jerk. Which even I was convinced he was. Who lets middle-grade students hike in the dark, doesn't pay attention to the food ingredients when you know that the kids have got a deadly allergy? A jerk, that's who.

But when a fellow camper goes missing during the night after a personal attack by Jare, the 'Fearless Four', Audrey, Aaron, Kate and Louis, set out to find her.

I honestly love this book so much and think that I've finally found what kind of novels I like. Overall, this is a book about connecting the stars and understanding life.

I LOVE IT
