Where are you From?
Hello everyone. I am Austin from India. I am 29 years old. I am originally from Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu. What I like about my native place is the weather, it gets neither too hot nor too cold. I also like it that it's endowed with greenery unlike most other parts of TN, bereft of verdure. Presently, I am working in Hyderabad as a video editor in a central government institute on a contractual basis. Living in Hyderabad for 4 years now. I like to read books which must be obvious or else why would I be here on this app? Lol. I am sort of addicted to this wonderful app. Hope to make new friends here.
I'm from Oregon, USA. My state is pretty boring, but I love the comic cons in my state. I met Jason Isaacs and Matthew Lewis at the comic con in my state a couple of years ago :)
Hi I’m Olivia I’m from Wisconsin USA. And it’s cold here right now. I just went running and it’s 3 degrees Fahrenheit out right now. But at least this winter has been more mild that most. I haven’t had to break out the winter jacket yet.
Hi! i'm Emma Leigh from Georgia USA, I was born in Wisconsin, though. Because of my Dad's job I have lived in 5 states and one country (Not including America) I love Georgia because of the history! Georgia was the 13th colony and colonial time is my favorite period in history. I have been to two Museums so far. One being a history museums, that I will hopefully be able to work/volunteer there when I'm 16 (There is no age limit but it's not by my house and my parents can't take me because of work and also I have school Lol) And the other was a military Museum, I went there twice. Once for a field trip for school and for an event for Girl Scouts. Also, my school is really good! It is the best public school in the area. The worst part (Besides the heat and bugs of course) is that the closest library is 30mins- an hour away so I can't go there :(
Hey!! I am originally an Indian, though I'm always switching places between Perth, Australia and Vadodara, India. The state where Vadodara is located is the safest state in India with greenery and loving people all around. In here (Vadodara), the natives are never hesitant to help anyone and everyone. It is mostly always in top 5 clean cities of India. The temperature here is never too cold; breeze and light rainfall is often seen in monsoon and summer is never too hot as well. It's can be mistaken as costal area if one has not seen the map.
All in all, it's a developed city with educated people who are happy to welcome you anytime.

Oh wow! You are an Indian! And I am also from Vadodara.... that's amazing! Never thought to find someone so close yet so far...and I totally agree... Vadodara is the most clean and green city in India. The residents of Vadodara are Very helpful and they have a tendency to keep cleanliness. They don't like people who disturb that order. It's especially safest for girls/women...I have lived there and the most safe I have felt is in Vadodara.

Yes, the people do mind their own business; though I'm not born here but have lived enough to understand their aversion to chaos. Safety is always cherry on top. Vadodara is better than Ahmedabad or Surat in terms of peace imo.

Yeah....you are right... Vadodara is my birth city and I spent my childhood there. But I moved to Agra a long time ago, however I have my relatives there and so I keep visiting. Of all the cities I have lived in so far, Vadodara remains to be my favourite. I have many childhood memories there which I cherish.
I have visited Ahemdabad in my childhood once, and I was really young so the only thing I remember is going to a mall buying fancy clips..lol

I pass through it regularly as for connecting flights, never stayed there. I visited Agra too many times as it is close to Allahabad.

Hi, I'm from India, pune. The thing I'm proud of is, pune is the education center of india (not sure cuz I have heard this from my elders and I don't trust them, lol) Pune even has great history about maratha peshwa's and all which I'm very fond of. It just gives complete hometown vibes, which I love. BTW pune is in Maharashtra.
I am from a small island that is unfortunately not on the map. Well it’s a tiny dot in the Middle East and it is called Bahrain. Basically an Arab
Hi! I'm Italian and I live in the rearmost north-east region of Italy, Friuli Venezia-Giulia, close to Austria and Slovenia. This land is rich of history and beautiful landscapes, we are close both to the mountains and the sea. It's a small paradise, and we're quite jealous of it ;)
Hi, I'm Hassaana! I'm Indian (third generation South African Indian) and I was born and raised in South Africa for most of my life. However, I moved to New Zealand almost three years ago. South Africa will always be my home and I definitely miss it alot, especially my family but New Zealand's a great country and its slowly becoming a home to me. Living close to the ocean is definitely a plus.
Hello, I am Mango! I am 2nd generation Indian, born here in the US, but I am a Tamilian. I lived for a couple years in Chennai, and then also sometime in Baroda (Vadodara). I am now here in the US, but yeah.
One thing I love about India is that there is a tight community. You know everyone and everyone knows you. It's like you are in a huge family. Also another awesome thing is the mangoes (duh!). The mangoes are AMAZING XD.
One thing I love about the US is that there are generally more opportunities I guess. In India, you don't get as many opportunities there as here in US. I also love the schooling here, better than in India. Schools here make you think out of the box, India schools I think just taught you memorization.
*I don't mean to offend anyone, this is just my opinion. :)*

Canadian prairies for me. My favourite thing about living here are the four seasons we get with drastically different temperatures -40C to 40C. Sometimes, like this past week, the weather can be harsh but it can change so quick.

Hi, I'm Anna. I'm originally from Ukraine, but I live in Egypt. I came to Cairo 6 years ago and decided to stay, I found my new home here. I love Egypt, because it's warmer than Ukraine and there is no snow (I can't stand snow, though, I was born in December). Today was +24 C in the afternoon. I'm not even gonna start about Egyptian food, hostility, culture, and entertainment!

Yeah, the two main places I go when visiting India is Chennai and Baroda.
Before COVID, I used to visit both places probably twice a year. But now I haven't been to India in over 2 years. :( I was going to go in summer 2020 but we decided it was too risky.
Can't wait to go to India again, who knows I might somehow bump into you when visiting Baroda XD.

Hi! I prefer to not say my name, so please just call me booknerd. I am from the United States of America. I love my life here, and I love the weather. I haven't gotten snow for a while, but I love the rain and sitting in the sunshine. I love to curl up with a good book no matter what the weather is.
I am also part Australian. I have been to Australia twice in my life, and really want to go again. I would like to embrace the Australian side of me.

Hi!! I'm in the United States. My state is Idaho were I currently live and have lived most of my life. I was born in South Dakota. I have visited SD as most of my mom's family still lives there and spent a lot (most) of my summers there.) I feel you Natasha. We just went for 20s and 30s to a snap of 80s! I felt like I was gonna pass out in the heat. No time to climatize. Though Olivia is making me feel humble with her Wisconsin weather.
