i think the wicker king (if you haven't already read it) would be perfect to get out of a reading slump since there's alot of mixed media & the chapters are super short :))) also I was in a really bad reading slump recently (months long) and I binge read the folk of air series by Holly Black and that got me out of it
My biggest recommendation is an all time favourite of yours. Usually that will give me the urge to read more. If you want something new, the Daevabad trilogy is an amazing fantasy:)
I also agree that you should reread an old favorite. For me, whenever I feel slumpy I pick up a book by Sarah Morgan. I don't usually read romance novel, but her book is a good palette cleanser.
I highly recommend reading a short book first to give you that wanting to read more feels. Try one of the Wayward Children by Seanan McGuire since those are short books if you are in a fantasy mood. Or try To Be Taught If Fortunate if you are in a sci-fi moods.
Mangas totally count as reading. You could even just read mangas or graphic novels until you're in the mood to read a normal book again. Do whatever works best for you. If you don't want to do that though, maybe start with a middle grade or children's fantasy book like The Golden Compass or Harry Potter to help get you out of your slump :)
LAND OF STORIES!!! Seriously itss so good! Its middle grade and super good! Also I feel u rn im in a reading slump and I just dont know what to read lol! Happy reading!
Both of these are standalones. Enchantment of Ravens is more YA but the world-building is stellar and the romance is compelling.
I'm in the process of reading Kingdom of Back, but so far the writing is spectacular and its a historical fantasy about Mozart!
Hope this helps :)
These are all books I finished pretty fast. I'd also recommend rereading one of your all time favs, it always helps. Or just rereading your favorite parts from books, might get you in the reading mood as well. You could also try buddy reading with a friend.
If you need more recs or you want to try a buddy read you can always PM me. :)
Hope this helps!

I normally read adult scifi and fantasy (though i also read and enjoy a myriad of other genres) a lot but neither of those genres have many short, easy to get through books.
sooo does anyone have any book recommendations for me? to get me out of my reading slump and stuff, preferably something easy to get through (doesnt necessarily have to be short, just something you woosh through)
