Personality: Kira is socially oblivious. She is introverted and has no interest in making friends. If you approach her she will likely either (A) ignore you or (B) be really rude, but if you keep at it, and continue to stick around, she’ll slowly ease up and allow you to be her friend. Kira is, however, very perceptive and observant. Within a minute of encountering someone, she has likely already deduced a dozen ways to kill/knock you out. Kira is also a fighter, she enjoys it.

Backstory: After a fire in her forest home, when she was seven (caused by humans), that killed both her parents and her older brother. She came to the Academy for “Monsters” because she decided (ironically) that she needed more interaction.

Name History: “Zale” means ‘strength of the sea’ and “Murphy” means ‘sea warrior.’ Roberts was his father’s surname.

Personality: Honestly? Zale’s a little crazy. But who wouldn’t be if they were kicked out of their sea-side home at only nine years old and lived alone on the bottom of the ocean for four hundred years? Nobody. Zale’s talkative and attention seeking. He doesn’t like being ignored or told what to do.

‘I'm like a scarf trick, it's all up the sleeve’

Backstory: Zale was born in a small, coastal fishing town and he was raised by only his father and he never met his mother, nor did anyone ever speak of her. As he grew, the townspeople realized he was much different than the rest of them. He had unnatural abilities such as controlling the tides and speaking to and controlling the ocean animals. After a terrible hurricane one Summer, Zale pushed the tides back to save a drowning woman as her house flooded. He proceeded to push back all the water and keep many of the coastal homes from flooding. The townspeople, of course, saw this as a curse and promptly tied young Zale up in thick rope, and cast him away into the ocean. He sank to the ocean floor and that’s when he Shifted for the first time. Zale turned into a mighty water beast, later known as a dragon, and still angry at his the people of his town, sent a massive tsunami to obliterate the them all. He heard about the Academy for “Monsters” and decided it would be worth a try.

Personality: Autumn is an angry fireball of rage and violence. She's ruthless and mean. She loves to pick a good fight and, for your sake, I'd stay far out of her way. She's pessimistic and finds all the tiniest things to get mad about she's always mad about something.

Backstory: Autumn was raised by humans after her Fae parents abandoned her in the woods. Her human parents loved her, even with her wings and horns, and she loved them back. As she grew, she became more and more of a threat to them. So she left them. In the middle of the night, she left a note and ran away into the woods. Since then, she's stayed far away from everyone and kept to her self, she lost track of the years and slowly became angrier with herself and the rest of the world.

Autumn has fiery red hair and clear, ivory skin. She has blood red eyes that usually freak people out. Her wings are covered with pitch black feathers and her horns are as dark black as her wings. They protrude from her forehead and they're small enough to hide under her hood.

Special Item: Her sword. She never lets it out of her sight. Touch it and you will find it stabbed through your heart.

Personality: Rylee is usually shy and quiet, but once she gets to know someone, she's outgoing, determined, funny, energetic and sarcastic. She likes to have fun and isn't afraid to stand up for herself. But don't underestimate her; Rylee can be cold, disrespectful, and really harsh. And she's just plain rude to Humans.

Backstory: Rylee had an average early life. She lived with her five brothers and three sisters and they grew up as a 'vegetarians' so Rylee only drank animal blood, not human blood, though the smell still temps her. She went hunting with her brothers and sisters everyday. But one day, when Rylee was out hunting, her and her siblings stumbled upon a group of Humans. The vampires refused to hurt them, promising the Humans wouldn't be killed. But the Humans attacked anyway, killing six of Rylee's siblings and wounding the others. The remaining vampires were separated and Rylee came to the Academy in hopes of being reunited with her remaining siblings.
