i did really love this books worldbuilding i really dint like the pace and i had such high expectations as i heard such great things with the house of chicken legs her other book.im reading the house with chicken legs and its amazing but this one was just not as good. I did love Olia though if you want a fast paced book this isnt really for you.

I ordered this and I'm always willing to give Sophie Anderson a chance. I absolutely LOVED the House with Chicken Legs, but her second book, The Girl Who Speaks Bear, didn't hit me quite the same way, so I'm interested to see how I feel about this one. But I think my book might not be here until the end of the month sadely.

I want to read the girl who speaks bear really bad I am interested to see if it’s as good as the house with chicken legs or the house with chicken legs is a one hit wonder for Sophie Anderson I hope the book comes quicker then you want I would love to see how you feel about it

Both for me have been really solid middle grade reads. I think for me the difference in whether it blows me away or not is its theme and whether it can sort of transcend age to be something that's magical and beautiful at all ages. I really resonated with the themes of House, but Bear just not so much and the protagonist felt younger in some ways. But I'll also say that House didn't blow me away until the end.

I've never read any of Sophie Anderson's books, so, I'm looking forward to this one. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for it to come in so my daughter and I can dive right in.

I haven't read any books by Sophie Anderson yet, and I just got my copy in the mail today. I plan to start reading this weekend.

This was my first Sophie Anderson book I loved the Whimsical feeling but I needed more anger and hate from the Olia because we are not all perfect ! 😂 Definitly read house with chicken legs next it is so’s amazing

I loved Sophie anderson's The girl who speaks bear, Im looking forward to read The castle of tangled magic..

The Castle of Tangled Magic was my first Sophie Anderson book and I really enjoyed it! I want to read her other books now but especially The House With Chicken Legs!

I loved this book, it was very charming. I loved the characters and the message of this book. I felt really connected with Olia's emotions during the story, and was very invested in this. I definitely plan on reading Sophie Anderson's other books.

Just received my copy today. I hope to be able to read it before the end of this month!

My daughter and I are so excited. Our copy FINALLY came in, today. I don't think we'll have it done by the end of the month, but we sure will try.

Finished "The Castel of Tangled Magic" and I did enjoy it. It was nice, warm and beautiful. I have to say that it was my first book from Sophie Anderson and now I intend to read her other two books. Did you enjoy it as much as I did?
