Book Snails Book Group discussion

We'll vote on our 2nd Quarterly Read probably around late March (to be read during the 3 months of April-June or so). But us being Snails, don't hold us to those exact dates ;p

Kindly nominate a good book for this 3-month read. We suggest slightly longer books (perhaps 250-500 pages or so), but it's up to you.

Once Upon a River
by Diane Setterfield, ~400 pages
(historical fiction/fantasy/magical realism). GR rating = 3.97 stars.

The Shadow Land

I can't work out how to get the image of the book on here I'm afraid, so it's just come out as a link. I'm suggesting The Shadow Land by Elizabeth Kostova which is 478 pages.

If you're using the desktop version of Goodreads.com, I think the easiest way to add a book image in a comment is:

1. Above the comment window, click 'add book/author'.
2. Search and find the book using the window that pops up.
3. Make sure you select (x)COVER instead of LINK, before you click ADD.
