I'm glad that things are going well. I can't wait to see the challenge. I don't have the patience to knit. I tried, but it never came out right.

We didn't set an amount. I'm on chapter 13. Yes there is always drama/action surrounding Vlad and Leila. Never a dull moment. I the balance between Vlad and Leila. She hasn't tamed him, but maybe soften him a little. Now he waits a minute before he burns someone.

Woohoo, one more Vlad book. I thought this one was going to be the last one, but then I was at the Epilogue and nothing had been done about (view spoiler)[Mircea...Vlad's stepson/nephew (hide spoiler)] so I was a little worried.

I think Maximus is a brave mofo. Don't love him, but can't really doubt that he has some serious cajones.

Yes indeed. I didn't like him at first, but he did help Leila. Without his help she would have been killed or tortured more. He put himself in danger for her.
