We need to make a schedule for the book. It would be great if we could plan ch wise, because I’m reading an e-copy so I don’t have pages. :)
So I’m ok with 2 chapters, but I’m also fine with more. We could do max 5 chs a day. :) how about you?

I don't think I understand? Do you mean what should our fixed amount of chapters a day would be? How about 3 chapters a day :)
Yes that’s what I meant.( I guess I wasn’t clear, sorry)So 3 chs a day sounds good! How many chs are there in the book?
58, but some are quite short. Should we say minimum 3 chapters a day, but you can read more if you want to?
Hi! It was Wednesday yesterday for me, its Thursday now :) I've read 4 chapters of the book, and I'm enjoying it so far! What do you think?
I’m enjoying it so far too! I actually didn’t get time to finish 3 chs so I’ve read only the prologue and ch 1. I’ll read more today.I kind of felt sad for the character in the prologue. The way her guilt was described was sad.

Well, I don't want to spoil much, but I have a feeling there just might be a love triangle :( and possibly some "welp, we've got this person who found out abt our secret society and now we've got to keep and train them" I also feel apologetic for Bree about her loss and the way she acts often reflects her loss, which is great writing from the author! Often, the trauma only comes in when it's convenient, but I feel like in this book its not like that. Also, the author explains how she went through this herself when her mother died when she was 9, and how some parts are modelled after her, which is really interesting
I definitely felt they’d be a relationship thing, but I didn’t know about the love triangle. Hope it’s well done.Oh I didn’t know the author went through the same. It’s definitely really good writing. I’m excited to see what happens next!
Hi Maja. Which ch are you on? I’m on ch 10 and I’m loving it so far. I agree on the love triangle now that I’ve read more but I’d prefer it to be friends.Does this book give you Shadowhunter vibes? The whole thing about people killing demons and the fact that Bree can see them but others can’t feels a lot like Shadowhunters. I hope I takes its own turn from here.
Yes! I agree with the Shadowhunter vibes. Dead parents? Check. Just your average "im not like other girls" girl pulled into a magic society? Check. Said girl forced to kill demons? Check. It is basically City of Bones but theres representation.Im on Chpt 9, and I am enjoying it!
I do hope its doesnt end up too similar to Shadowhunters tho

Hello, welcome back! I actually haven't read that much of this book because I was a bit busy so I'm going to continue it soon. Which ch are you on? we can set a schedule accordingly.
