"Can you believe it? We're married." He kisses her.

He keeps walking. He looks down at her. "Yeah. And we're three years apart."
"I can't believe no one has explored this." He looks out. He sits on the edge of the dock and hangs his feet off the edge.
"Maybe they're using the wrong people." ((How much are sailors respected?))
"Maybe they need to use boats instead of flight."
"Maybe. Hold that thought." He walks off.
He walks back. "I bought a boat." He smiles.
"oh, come on, we won't be dead. we're too integral to the plotline." he stares at her.
he stubbornly stays unconscious.
he wakes up suddenly. "we're living in a book."
"no. the ancient ones spoke to me."
"they gave me permission to cross the waters, to find the book. the book that we're all in..." he stands up and starts pulling her to a boat.
"But they promised safe passage!!!" He picks her up.
he thinks a bit. "TIMESKIP!!!" he shouts.
he looks at the sky. "told ya." it was night.
"do you not see that it's night now?"
"the ancient ones told me about this."
"please...?" he kisses her lightly.
"yes, and that's why, when they worked together, they created the book." he kisses her again.
"whoever holds the book, can change the world. literally and figuratively."
"we can't go home. shay, they called to me..."
"they told me that we need to find it before someone else does. (the good ancient ones) said that (the bad ancient ones) sent their own retriever of the book. we need to get that book."
he leads her onto a boat. "i've never sailed a day in my life."
he picks her up and the boat starts sailing by itself.
he passes out again. ((is cussing allowed?))
he wakes up. "HOLY-- where the hell are we?!?!"
"aren't you scared of boats and water?"
"are you sure this isn't a trap by (water ancient one)?"
"alright." he jumps off and starts swimming.
he gets to the shore before she's halfway there.
