I'm sure Dr. Bristol will bring his own set of questions and insights, but here are a few questions from me that I wanted to post to get things started:

One of the themes of this book is the concept of duality, as in Yin and Yang.

1. How does this fit with the "androgyny" of Winter's people? (Though androgyny isn't really fitting, as Genly Ai points out, since they all experienced as both genders.)

2. I was really taken by the insight from Therem (I think) that opposition supports and aids the thing you are opposing and is, in fact, the wrong path to take because it is the same path. How is "opposition" then different from the duality of "opposites," which otherwise provides balance?
