I wanted to like this one so bad! I had been eagerly waiting for it's release date. But, for me, it just didn't live up to the hype. It's a neat idea, but it just felt like there was something missing. I'm a big fan of this author's other works, and it just didn't measure up to them. 3/5

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I feel like most teens will also enjoy it with its mystery, magic, adventure, and touch of romance it’s a win/win. Can’t wait for the next one!

I enjoyed this book but I also listened to it. From things I have read, reading it can get tedious with some of the world creation which might lose some readers. 3/5
