Oooh interesting. I never thought about it like that!
To me, grey characters are just the ones who I don't the strongest opinions on. To me, they aren't good, but they aren't bad. I don't have a strong opinion on them

Oooh I always loved morally grey characters the most in books! I don’t like completely black and white characters.

Beartown by Fredrik Backman had some of the most morally grey characters ive ever read. Each character was so nuanced and complex, just like people actually are, and it was such a rich book because of that(just a warning, it does deal with some heavy topics that were really hard to read about)

Some of the best morally grey characters I’ve come across are from the Six of Crows duology. All the characters are morally grey and I love them!
The Cruel Prince series also has a lot of morally grey characters I enjoyed reading about.

Morally grey.... maybe Vicor from Vicious??? I remember the book plays a lot with the hero vs villain troop, at least the first one does. It was really interesting.

What are some things you like to see or don’t like to see in these characters? Who are your favourite morally grey characters? (use spoiler tags if you’re spoiling something!)
