This Is How You Lose the Time War and the Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda series are excellent reads. (If you read Simon be warned that you will need oreos to consume)

One of my favourite books by an Indian author. It's about the history of Delhi over the years and also present day Delhi, in a novel form.

Good enough reason 😂☺️

The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue is a historical fiction with a touch of magic. It is very funny, witty and heart warming. Gay lead characters. Also protrayed is the characters struggle with racism and sexism. Highly recommend to everyone. The Binding- Amazing love story and a very unique plot. If memories could be extracted and bound into books. If you had a chance of getting rid of your bad memories would you do so? And moreover how this can be exploited when you can litreally wipe out thd memories of your crime. Highly recommended. Very beautiful writing.

In Deeper Waters by FT Lukens. This has been described as The Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue meets The Pirates of the Caribbean. The description itself sold me. It is amazing and such a quick light hearted fluffy read that will definitely leave you happy.
The Rules and Regulations for Mediating Myths & Magic - ya coming of age x mythology, also a likable protagonist. Not a serious book though.Because You'll Never Meet Me - story of two boys who can never meet because if they do, then they’ll literally die. The story is said in form of them exchanging letters.
Carry On - this is pretty popular but no one has mentioned it so…
Sometimes We Tell the Truth - this is more like a collection of short stories within a main story. But it is very deep and insightful.
In Other Lands - an mc who goes to other lands and finally finds a place where he belongs…even though it’s strange and kinda dangerous. Not a likable protagonist but good character development.
I want to mention one more but the lgbtq+ representation is a HUGE spoiler so I’ll mention it in spoiler tag.

Timekeeper – steampunk historical fantasy with gay main character and pansexual love interest. She Drives Me Crazy – sapphic enemies to lovers with fake dating romance. it also talked about breaking up so it's kind of emotional.
I'll Be the One – the main character is bisexual, and she has two friends who are girlfriends. if you like KPop survival show or just KPop in general, maybe try this book.
We Are Okay – a very emotional read about loneliness and grief, and the main character is a lesbian.
