Here is a place for our group's mods to chat. So, to all the other mods: do you have any ideas for our group, any suggestions? You can write them here so the other mods can see them.

Okay, it just starts to be a little mess, so I was wondering if you wanted to make in- charge moderators? Someone of us can be in charge of welcoming new members and general chats, another one of book nooks and buddy reads, someone else for monthly challenges, someone else for BOTM ect. Of caurse we can participate in everything, but we will have to be in charge of something too, so as the group not to get dead... What do you think?
Okay!!! So, I think we can have these, but please say if you think something should be different:1. In charge of welcoming and general chat.
2. In charge of book discussions and book nooks
3, In charge of buddy reads and unpublished authors
4. In charge of BOTM and polls (if needed)
5. In charge of monthly challenges.
Please note that you'll have to be active, since you're in charge of something. Let me know any changes you would do on the in-charge mods, and also which one you would prefer, and think you would be good at :)
Great! So you are officially in-charge of monthly challenges! Would you like to start them from this month or the next one?
So we have a different person for polls and a different for BOTM.. things changed, but I think it's even better now!
Okay, so here is what is left:1. In charge of welcoming and general chat.
2. In charge of book discussions and book nooks
3. In charge of games.
Auntie Terror joined the mod tem and he is in charge of challenges :)
Hello, and thanks for adding me to the team. :-)
I'm new to being a mod, so I'm having a look around at the options just now.
As the one to look after challenges, the first thing, of course, would be to get a "Challenges" folder. I don't know if I can create one or that's admin-stuff.
I'd like to start right away after there's the folder by creating a thread for challenge suggestions so people can post ideas for challenges we could do in this group.
The 'triwizard' idea is there, but for a start in April, I'd like to do something more general/accessible like a 'mini bingo' with only 3 by 3 cards so those who want to join get a good chance of success no matter whether they finish 9 or 3 books.

Found it, as you've seen already ;-)
And found the "sticky" and "close" options as well. I'm creating the more general topics for now and will hope for some more input from people to see what everybody wnats to see as challenges go.
Edit: In general, if and when I create challenges via the challenge tool as well, would you like them to show up on the group homepage, too?

Me again:
Do you guys think I should try to set up a March challenge yet? The month is quite young still, after all. I'd just get the mini bingo on early and see if people want to join so that we might go and try Lady Night's idea for a team challenge...
Also: If I want to set up polls in relation to challenges, I'd ask (or notify?) Hannah first, right?

Hey everyone,
just so you don't wonder at what I'm doing creating and possibly deleting a pointless "test" challenge: I've got a bit of spare time and no head for reading just now so I'm trying out the "Challenges" option to get some screen shots for the April Challenge info to share so people have a visual aid if needed.

@Hannah: Asking permission to open or asking you to create a poll about graphic novels/comic books/mangas in challenges ;-)
A group member brought up the question in the Bingo Challenge, and while we found a way for this running challenge, I'd like to know how the group members in general thought of the subject, i.e. should they count like any other book, should they count in a diminished way, should they not count at all?
