Wings of Fire - The Last Hope discussion

Coldfire took a drink, Solar Eclipse by his side as they waited for the rest to land. Midnight was the first and the others slowly came in.

Tikki landed a few seconds behind Midnight. She threw out her wings to stable herself. "This is it right? The Jungle? Of LeafWings" She asks as she took a second to drink some water.

Coldfire raised a talon as to silence her. "Hush, they can't know we're here." he whispered quietly, barely audible.
((Who has Poison Ivy?))

Paradise peaks fro. out of a tree. "Woah," she says.

((I got Poison Ivy!))

Tikki huffed rather loudly and sat next to the river, her scales taking in her surroundings. She glances at Paradise and the other dragons around her.

Paradise jumps around, excited. Cyclone stays near Tikki still.

Solar Eclipse leaned into Coldfire, in return the larger hybrid wrapped his wing around the small dragon, covering him almost completely.

Tikki leaned in closer to Cyclone. This place gave her a bad feeling. She has a worried aura around her as her eyes flicked around the place.

Poison Ivy hopped through the forest. Nobody was around, or so he thought, so he let out a soft sigh and glanced at the nearby plants, that circle him, whispering things. Words, pleads. He shook his head and breath out heavily.

Cyclone gives her a small reassuring smile and walks closer. Paradise completely disregarded the dangers, exploring the new, enchanting place.

Tikki sends Cyclone a small smile back as her eyes continued to dance across the area. She turned her glance to Paradise exploring and she sighed as she reached out her wings and placed it on Cyclone's wing.

Poison Ivy continues his way through the Jungle. He was going to a spot in the middle of both LeafWing camps, a small pond to be exact. He stopped suddenly near the River when he heard noises that were not at all plants.

Cyclone grins at the gesture, and returns it. Their ears prick up as they hear a noise. They summon Paradise over and shushed her

Tikki's wing tips turned magenta but all her scales suddenly turn a sickly yellow green color. She had heard the same noise Cyclone did, "You don't think-" She started before a figure crashed through the tree opening.

Poison Ivy was sure that there were other dragons around. But who? That was the question. No sane HiveWing or SilkWing would travel into the Poison Jungle. He turned his direction and hopped through a bunch of trees, onto the bank of the river. He blinked. Once. Twice. At the other dragons, "It's a dangerous place here you know. You shouldn't be here" Poison Ivy said slightly monotoned.

Coldfire nodded at Poison Ivy, "They're with me." he covered Solar Eclipse more, he didn't know this Leafwing but he knew the royals.

Poison Ivy narrowed his eyes at the other dragon, "Oh are they now? Right" He said, he didn't recognize any of the other dragons but he did think Coldfire looked familiar. "Who do you have with you then?" He asked as he jumped over the river with one flap of his wings.

Paradise freezes and looks at the new dragon carefully. Her scales turn a curious pink.

"Solar Eclipse, Hopewish, Midnight, Tikki, Cyclone, Paradise." he said with no emotion. Coldfire revealed Sol for a second before covering him again.

Poison Ivy glanced at each dragon before looking back at Coldfire. He gave him a slight nod, "Alright. So, you all know the dangers here right? I don't have to explain it?" He asked before narrowing his eyes at the group, "And you guys are here why? I don't think I ever found out"

Tikki flashed a bunch of different colors as she edged closer to Cyclone. The other dragon gave her the creeps.

"They don't need to know the dangers." Coldfire said. Hopewish narrowed her eyes at Coldfire and Midnight glared at him. "We're here because of a prophecy." he stated, not breaking eye contact with Poison Ivy.

Poison Ivy widened his eyes for a split second before narrowing them again, "What, are you descendents of Clearsight or something. Just what we need, a prophecy." He also didn't manage to break eye contact with Coldfire, "And what do you mean, they don't need to know the dangers, have you seen this Jungle?"

Coldfire growled "We won't be here for long, also haven't you seen that mist?" the black mist continued to surround the islands.

"What do you think? I've been deep in the jungle. With tree canopies. I haven't had time to look up at the sky" As Poison Ivy said this, he broke contact with Coldfire and looked up at the sky. It was very misty, he did have to say that. "Where are you going? Do you need shelter for the night? Even if you aren't going to be here long, the jungle is more dangerous at night. The plants don't like most dragons" He says as if plants had actual feelings, which they do.

"I don't disrespect the plants, but... We're looking for the Leafwing in the prophecy.." he said, almost hesitant.

Poison Ivy quickly lost his composer, "Did you just say LeafWing? Which camp? PoisonWings or SapleWings?" He chokes out before straightening again, "Why would a LeafWing be in your prophecy" He said before adding, "You better not disrespect the plants. They have feelings too"

Coldfire stayed silent. "I don't know, it's her prophecy" he nodded towards Hopewish.

"You didn't answer my question" Poison Ivy said as he stepped a bit closer, he glanced at the other dragons, "Which camp is it?" He asked again, this time looking at Hopewish instead of Coldfire.

"Poisonwings I believe." she said staring into his eyes, not blinking.

Poison Ivy blinked at her, "PosionWings" He repeated under his voice. He sighed, "Alright then. Well" He seemed a bit lose for words. Wasn't excepting a PoisonWing to be the one. And of course I'm a PoisonWing. It probably won't be me though He thinks to himself.

Hopewish shook her head. "There is also a Hivewing and a Silkwing--" "The Silkwing is a firesilk, we'll need help getting them out." Coldfire growled to Poison Ivy, then to the plants.

Poison Ivy snarled at Coldfire, "I said no disrespecting the plants!" He said to Coldfire, before turning slightly to the plants and in their tongue he says, "It's okay, he's just being rude- No he doesn't hate you" He cleared his throat when he was done and turned back to Hopewish, "Both a HiveWing and a SilkWing? A Flamesilk? Huh, we were going to break them out anyways. So, I can probably help you with that" Poison Ivy says.

Coldfire narrowed his eyes at Poison Ivy, "Why would you guys risk the Hivewings finding out you're still alive?" he asked, suspicious of their reasoning.

Poison Ivy shrugged like it was nothing, "Can't go saying secrets to random dragons who probably don't even come from here. You'll find out if you stay longer" He said while looking at Coldfire, "Then again, if you're just here for a few dragons, we'll hand you the HiveWing and you can go on your way. The LeafWing and SilkWing are off the table"

Coldfire stood, he showed his true height and lowered his head to Poison Ivy's "Would you like all dragons to be destroyed?" his breath cold, he bared his fangs.

Poison Ivy barely flinched at Coldfire's full height, "We can't just go around and give you an LeafWing or a flamesilk. They are very important to us" He thought for a second, "But a HiveWing on the other talcon, they don't matter that much to us. In fact, we hate them" He said with another shrug, "I don't care about half the dragons in the world anyways. I could care less. LeafWings are all I care about"

((Wait, Am I playing Poison Ivy right? Like his personality and stuff?))

"Leafwings will die too" he growled.

((Yes))

"How about a normal SilkWing? And a SapleWing? Would those due?" He said slightly more pale, "Like I said, I can't give you the others. Take a few more HiveWings" Poison Ivy continued as he paled. "Why not use some from your home? That's the better idea" He shook his head like something was bugging him. The plants around him whispered louder when hearing his voice.

"That's not how prophecies work dungface!" Hopewish growled at the Leafwing.

Poison Ivy stepped back, slightly taken back that Hopewish had snapped at him, "You never know. Fine. Final offer, you can have both the HiveWing and SilkWing. We'll help you get both. But you can't have a LeafWing. Is that fair enough?" He said as he glared at some of the hissing plants.

Solar Eclipse left the shelter of Coldfire's wing. "We need the Leafwing if the world is to survive..." he looked at Hopewish. "Is there any other Leafwings who speak Strengthened Leafspeak?" he asked suddenly.

Poison Ivy literally chocked, the question was that direct, he took a second to respond, the hesitance clear, "Is that who you need? A LeafWing who has Strengthened Leafspeak?" He asked. He didn't want to really give himself away if he hadn't already.

Hopewish nodded.

Poison Ivy paused for a second before saying, "No. We don't have any dragons with strengthened leafspeak" He lied easily.

Midnight stood. He and Coldfire could read minds, "Don't lie... is there any other Poisonwings who speak Strengthened Leafspeak other than you?" Coldfire stared at Poison Ivy, glaring.

Paradise hops down from a tree, laughing

Poison Ivy paled again. Well that was unexcepted. Just my luck really He thought, "Maybe, maybe not. Most dragons keep it to themselves. I honestly don't know if there are other dragons who have strengthened leafspeak" He said cautiously while looking at the Midnight and Coldfire.

Coldfire looked at Midnight Just his luck? Midnight looked into Coldfire's eyes I guess. Midnight sighed. "Hopewish, is he the one?" "I don't know..." Hopewish studied him. "He could be"

Cyclone glares at him from Tikki's side

Poison Ivy glanced at the weird dragon that had hopped down from the tree. "I'm standing right here you know" He said.

Tikki glanced at the four dragons talking and she then glanced at Cyclone glaring at Poison Ivy, "Hey what's wrong. Other then we're in the Jungle" She asked with a nudge.

The earth shook. Coldfire and Midnight looked at each other Earthquake? they both thought before leaping into the air.

Cyclone shakes out of it."Nothing " they assure her, smiling.
