Books featured on The Daily Show, January 2015:

- America's Bitter Pill: Money, Politics, Back-Room Deals, and the Fight to Fix Our Broken Healthcare System, Steven Brill
- Wiser: Getting Beyond Groupthink to Make Groups Smarter, Cass R. Sunstein
- American Dreams: Restoring Economic Opportunity for Everyone, Marco Rubio
- God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy, Mike Huckabee
- Ghettoside: A True Story of Murder in America, Jill Leovy
- Thieves of State: Why Corruption Threatens Global Security, Sarah Chayes

Since we have a new show, I thought this would be a good time to remind everyone of the criteria for a book to be on this monthly list, especially because it looks like there won't be a lot of books under The Nightly Show. The original idea for the "Books featured on..." list was that they were books whose authors were on whichever show during the main interview segment, and specifically to discuss that book. For example, Jill Leovy was on The Daily Show specifically to talk about Ghettoside, so it's on the "Books featured on..." list. On the other hand, though, Nicholas Irving was a panelist on The Nightly Show, but his book, The Reaper, was only mentioned in passing and as part of his credentials, so it's not a "featured" book. So that's why you probably won't see many (if any) books listed as "Books featured on The Nightly Show": it's not that I don't love Larry Wilmore, it's that he doesn't have guests specifically to talk about their books (but you can still find them on the nightly-show shelf).
