Late to the party would be a good one. I've also heard of The Falling in Love Montage which is f/f also.

10/10 suggestions. i’m also going to dip my metaphorical hand in the water and say that, once it comes out, “she drives me crazy” by kelly quindlen (author of “late to the party”) might be a good one 👀
i’d also suggest “honey girl” by morgan rogers! not YA, but one of my most anticipated 2021 releases and i’ve heard amazing things.

so far for our may options we have:
- late to the party (kelly quindlen)
- the falling in love montage (ciara smyth)
- honey girl (morgan rogers)
if you have any more suggestions, for this month or future ones (in my book, at least, there are so many good queer contemporaries coming out this year), feel free to drop them here any time within the next few weeks!

ok y’all, i’m now also accepting suggestions of other genres! we’ll plan on doing two (optional) reads every month, which will be put to a poll later on.
to start, i’d like to suggest “the unbroken” by c.l. clark, which is a new release i’ve seriously been looking forward to. also, “persephone station” by stina leicht, a scifi that has an amazing cover and looks kind of intensely awesome. feel free to drop your own recommendations and/or suggestions here at your own convenience!

yess i read an arc of The Unbroken and definitely recommend it! i’d like to suggest a few books that are high priority on my tbr — for fantasy, Black Sun and The House in the Cerulean Sea! also if historical fiction is okay, maybe The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo or Under the Udala Trees?

I AGRESSIVELY SUPPORT THE HOUSE IN THE CERULEAN SEA *breaks down sobbing* /pos I also rec Every Heart a Doorway because it’s very effortlessly diverse and also super WEIRD magical realism that I adored, although I’m pretty sure a number of people here have read it

those are all great recommendations!!! historical fiction is totally okay, we’re open for all genres now :). a lot of those are super high up on my own tbr as well, so i’m definitely here for reading/rereading them!!
