okay! i’m not *entirely* sure how this voting system is going to work, but what i’m thinking is: everyone submits options via this channel at their own leisure, then i’ll put it in a poll and we’ll vote for the winner. hopefully??? i might keep it simple and hold off on some suggestions for a hot sec as so we don’t have a bunch of options each with one vote, but all your books will be put on the polls at some point! :D

10/10 suggestions. i’m also going to dip my metaphorical hand in the water and say that, once it comes out, “she drives me crazy” by kelly quindlen (author of “late to the party”) might be a good one 👀

i’d also suggest “honey girl” by morgan rogers! not YA, but one of my most anticipated 2021 releases and i’ve heard amazing things.

to start, i’d like to suggest “the unbroken” by c.l. clark, which is a new release i’ve seriously been looking forward to. also, “persephone station” by stina leicht, a scifi that has an amazing cover and looks kind of intensely awesome. feel free to drop your own recommendations and/or suggestions here at your own convenience!

yess i read an arc of The Unbroken and definitely recommend it! i’d like to suggest a few books that are high priority on my tbr — for fantasy, Black Sun and The House in the Cerulean Sea! also if historical fiction is okay, maybe The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo or Under the Udala Trees?

I also rec Every Heart a Doorway because it’s very effortlessly diverse and also super WEIRD magical realism that I adored, although I’m pretty sure a number of people here have read it
