Hunger Games Roleplay discussion

This room, like the others, is lit with torches. What's different, though, is that there are stairs leading down to a flooded area. There's plenty of water in it, enough to last the tributes for a while. But it's contaminated. Tributes either need to purify it with iodine or a purifying water bottle, or drink it and risk getting sick. This is the ONLY water in these Games, so all tributes must venture here eventually.

Christina ran into the room fully exhilarated by her sprint. She would have enjoyed it better if she hadn't been running for her life, but she wasn't in a position to be picky. When she got to the room though, she realized a problem. There was nothing to hold the water with. Christina was a little unnerved by that and hoped her teammates had brought water

Keefe stumbled behind Christina. Unlike her, he was sweating like crazy. "Here's a canteen" he said thrusting it into her hands. "Please. I need some water"

Christina purified the water doing all the steps she'd learned as a child. "Here" she said

Sophie came in and also handed Christina a canteen. After Christina filled hers up she eagerly drank from it

"Thanks" Keefe said being careful not to drink too much to get a stomach ache

"YeaH' Christina said. "Where's Selene and Jasper?"

"No clue" Keefe siad. He made sure to save them some water

Sophie shrugged, though she was worried for Jasper. "Should we go back and look?" she asked nervously

Christina shook her head. "We can't risk it. Selene can look after herself, i beleive that much, and I taught Jasper some basic Neigong that'll keep him alive"

Christina got impatent."Stay here!" she said to Keefe and Sophie. "I'm going to go find them"

Selene ran up "sorry I was a little late!"

"Did you get anything?" Christina asked checking her friend for wounds

"No I didn't" Selene was sweating and looked at everyone else

Christina was heading outside pulling out her sword. "Keefe and Sophie have water. I'm going to find Jasper. Try to build a fire by the time I get back" she said before dashing outside

"okay!" Selene looked at Keefe and Sophie "should I start the fire?" she asked not knowing if they would be the ones to start it or she would

"We need tinder first" Sophie aid thoughtfully.

she looked around "is there any in here?" she looked at Sophie

"Yes" SOphie said. In one move, she cut off at least 3 inches of hair

"okay hand it to me" she said as she got up and took a torch off the wall and sat down

((There are torches on the walls, but be careful because using them to create fires gets rid of some of your light source))

Sophie shook her head. "not yet. We want to wait until the bloddbath is over"

"alright" she put the torch back and walked around, looking to see if there was anything worth grabbing in the room that the others didn't know about

Loria looked at her spear wondering how she could make something for Selene so she wouldn't be defenseless

Selene thought for a second then she remembered something, she looked up "Can I have a map?" Selene called, hoping someone was watching them and willing to sponsor them

Christina came back in. "couldn't find him" she said breathing heavily. "Here" she tossed the sheath of her sword to Selene. "That'll help you fight"

she caught it and looked it over "I'm a little good with a sword" she said then added in a low voice "but I hope someone heard me" and looked at the sky

"Same" Christina said. "In any case." her voice trailed off and she wadded into the water and pulled something green and soggy out of the water. "yes!" she said grinning

"whats that?" she asked not sure what it was and walked over

"A type of moss" she explained. "They produce small bits of iodine so the water inside of them ins dirnkable"

"Really!?" she said and was happy

she looked at the water "can I have some water because I was late to get stuff and didn't think about getting stuff just staying alive"

"yeah!" Christina said. She purified some more water and handed it to Selene. "You don't have any injuries do you?"

she took the water "no I don't and I want to try something" she drank the water then got up "Can I have a map?" Selene yelled too whoever was listening out there

"Please?" Christina joined in

A map answers their call and gently floats down

Selene grabs it "yes!" then looks up "Thank you!" then looked at Christina

"Thanks!" Christina said. She looked at it once, memorized it and grinned. "We have a map!"

she smiled and looked at it "I'll keep the map on me and you memorized it?"

"Yeah" Christina said. "I have pheonetic and photographic memory:

"good to know" she rolled up the map and thought or a moment "should I ask for a backpack to put stuff in?" she asked Christina

"We don't have a lot" Christina said. "Best not"
