Yeah, it sucks. :( I tried it out for a little while but ended up changing back to the original. I hate not having the shelves list more than I like those few good changes. A lot of my challenge groups use the shelves list and it's really going to limit those of us who do a lot of challenges. :(
I like the huge book cover art, and I like the series list and other books by the author at the bottom of the page. But since all of that information was one click away, I don't see why we need the change.
I don't like change. lol
Agree, Amanda! Also, I just looked at another book ... where the hell is the ISBN info? The links to Amazon and/or Audible or other shopping links we've added? UGH! I'm swapping back to non-beta too, for as long as is possible that's where I'll stay.
😤😩❓ Book page survey (https://goodreads.co1.qualtrics.com/j...)
❓ Help page "How do I use the new book page on the Goodreads website?"
I really, really, REALLY, hate it.Makes it extremely hard to do any librarian work on the site.
To me the book page is just so ugly and hurts my eyes. I'm on a large computer screen & everything on the book page is HUGE.
I'm not browsing book pages like I've done in the past.

100% agree
I'm so bummed, last night I had the old page and this morning I have the new one again. Tried clearing my browser history and logging back in - nope. New page. UGH 🙄😩

Another member (forgive me for not remembering who) mentioned it wouldn't work for bingo b/c they'd (TPTB @ Goodreads) removed the shelf links, but I've just now checked it out for the first time.
What are they going for? A more social media look?
Things I like ~ font, crispness of the page, ginormous book cover art
What worries me ~ Are they going to change the whole site to look like that? Will groups be changed too?? EEK! Will we lose important (to us) links and stuff too? 😬
Damn, GR changes make me nervous.
