I laugh as we walk in. “Hey wanna break the rules?”

"How?" She whispered

“I don’t know maybe sitting at my table or me sitting at yours....” he had a mischievous smile

"You know we can get punished... but as long as I stay inconspicuous, I'll sit at your table!"

“Ok” I pick her up dramatically and carry her over to my table.

"Woah! I said INCONPICULOUSY! "

I laugh and set her down on a bench. “Apollo cabin meet Madi, Madi meet the Apollo cabin.” There were mumbles of hi’s and welcome’s one camper asked if she was a daughter of Apollo “no. And I’m very glad of that” The newer campers were confused but the older ones understand and didn’t say anthing

Madi whisperd his and hellos. She laughs at Will's comment

I sat and pulled her down next to me. I handed her a plate and started to fill mine

I fill up my plate too. I see Percy eyeballing me across the room

Percys POV
I stare at Madi and will. I think to my self “they shouldn’t be sitting together. It’s not how it supposed to be.”

Wills POV
“Hey, you in there?” I whisper to madi

"Yeah, I'm here, Pervys eyeballing me." I whisper back.

“Ignore him”

"What do you think I'm doing?"

“Good job” I smiled and grabbed her hand under the table

She lats out a suppressed laugh.

Her laugh is beautiful and contagious so I start laighing

"Shhhhh. There gonna hear us."

“It’s fine. They don’t care”

"Sure they care. But not enough." And she laughs again

“Fine but they don’t care enough at all”

Percy comes walking over.

“What are you doing sitting here?” He says sturnly

she ignores him

“She is sitting with me. Can’t you tell or has all your time in the bay messed with your vision?” Will answered.

“She’s not supposed to be”

“She’s not your pet. You can’t tell her what to do”

she ignores the squabble and eats her food.

Percy swears under his breath and stormed off.
“Sorry. I don’t think he really likes me much”

"He doesn't. " She laughs

I laugh to “I’m not really sure why tho. “
