"Alrighty! What'd I miss?" Kalisse asks, a bit embarrassed to have missed the Bloodbath. She examined the death counter showing on the screen.
"Oh...wow," she whispers, a bit fascinated. "I thought that manipulative one would've went down much later. And both District 10, dead."
She frowns at the last dead tribute. "Did she seriously just blow herself up? With her own token??"

She frowns at the last dead tribute. "Did she seriously just blow herself up? With her own token??"
Persephone snorted and nodded. "Yep! I've got to say, it was rather surprising! In a pleasant way, of course." She strode over to Kalisse and planted a kiss on her cheek. "How was planning...whatever it was you were planning?"
Kalisse blushes a little at the kiss. It was a relax, the blushing, a sort of reaction that apparently made her seem sweeter.
Not that she minds looking more innocent than she seems.
"It went well!" she says brightly. "I have many ideas for the next arena...how bout we let them get comfortable next time? Let them think we're being sympathetic...and then...," she does a snapping gesture, "BAM! We surprise them with something deadly...something beautiful at first, but deadly..."

Persephone remembered something. "Oh, and I should have you know that I fired Ocean and Solstice because they were rude to you."
Kalisse lifts a golden eyebrow, and gives a little crystalline giggle. "Really? Well, I do guess they had it coming."
Persephone's eyes glittered happily, her grin widening. "Well, I'm glad you agree. Although, we're a little short-staffed now... We may have to recruit some new Gamemakers."
"That would be great!" Kalisse says. "Hopefully someone who will actually join us at Bloodbath-watching parties!" She taps her chin thoughtfully. "Has the Gamemaking Academy produced anyone good enough these years?"
Blake sable- Malfoy (new bio again) wrote: "(( I have a suggestion for a new mod- she is not dramatic and really chill. ))"
((Who?))
((Who?))
Persephone laughed softly at Kalisse's enthusiasm, a laugh that didn't have the spiky, poisonously sweet tone of her usual ones. Then she considered Kalisse's question. "You know... I don't know I can look into that as soon as possible. It'd be nice just to know we had options, wouldn't it?"
Kalisse nods in agreement. "That's true. So far, we've only gotten one recommendation letter." She tilts her head to the side. "How has Horizon been progressing?"
((Gtg, I'll prob be back later tho! My friend's got a theatre performance tonight tho))
"She seems to be doing pretty well. What do you think? You've been hanging out with her quite a bit, haven't you?" Persephone pointed out.

(Okay!)
"Well, yes," Kalisse admits, "she's a great friend. And she seems to have a lot of imagination. She's even helped me with some arena logistics!"

((Back, off and on tho))
Persephone offered her a small smile. "I'm glad you two are getting along. She seems like she's going to make a good Gamemaker," she said thoughtfully.

((Lydia, Gamemakers are for mods, and you were removed as a mod for reasons I've already specified))
(Kay!)
"Yeah...," Kalisse says softly, almost wistfully. "Though I'm a bit worried about...her past."

((I'm not gonna be on much today, sorry!))
Persephone nodded slowly, her expression turning dark and sad. When she spoke, her tone was grave. "Not all of us have the best past, Kalisse. There's a lot you don't know."

"Yeah...," Kalisse shivers, remembering the worst things in her life. She had avoided the truly terrible things, unlike some of her colleagues, but...there were a few things in the back of her mind that were shoved away for a reason. "There's some stuff you don't know about me, either."
When Kalisse shivered, Persephone's grip on her tightened slightly. She sighed, doing her best to shove away memories as well. "Which is why we have addictions," she half-heartedly joked, giving a dry laugh.
((Gtg be back later))

((Byeeee))
After checking a few cameras he decided that he was of no use currently and went and started to read

Kalisse smiles at Persephone bittersweetly. "Yes, well, the addictions are a small price to pay for some peace, aren't they?"
(okay! when are we starting the Games again?)
(okay! when are we starting the Games again?)
Kalisse catches sight of Hunter and smiles at him sweetly.
"Hi! How are ya?"
"Hi! How are ya?"
"I'm...alright." Kalisse gives a little chuckle. "Could be better, but hey-- the Games started off great! So that's that, at least!"
She taps her chin thoughtfully. "Maybe I should send out a message congratulating the whole team...anyways, good job!"
She taps her chin thoughtfully. "Maybe I should send out a message congratulating the whole team...anyways, good job!"
"Aw, c'mon!" Kalisse frowns, comically concerned. "The pre-Games were all thanks to you!"
Kalisse frowns deeper. "Well, we can name ya head of the Storytelling Department. To, you know, create a plot with the tributes?"
"Well...what do you want to do?" Kalisse asks, curious.
Persephone raised an eyebrow at Hunter's unwillingness to go along with what Kalisse was saying. "Can't you just accept her gratitude? Is that really so hard, sweetheart?" she asked with an almost pouty look.
He rolled his eyes. Persephone was never someone he likes be around let alone talk. “You only care cause your dating her. I was saying that I dont know how to do what she was saying and I was saying I can learn”
Kalisse looks between them a bit nervously. "You guys don't need to fight, alright? I've seen enough of that for...a lifetime."
Persephone's cute, pouty look turned into a glare. "Fine. Whatever. I need a drink," she mumbled, her tone almost like a growl. She began stalking towards the door, her body now wanting, no, needing alcohol.
"...right," Kalisse sighs, and hesitates if she should follow Persephone or not. On one hand...liquor. On the other...she might want to be alone...
((Sorry we’re doing dinner and a movie so if I don’t respond it’s bc we’re at the movie))
Persephone reached the door, then glanced back at Kalisse. “You coming, baby?” she asked as though it had been incredibly obvious that she wanted Kalisse with her.

(Kay!)
Kalisse lifts her eyebrows in happy surprise. So Persephone wasn't mad at her!
"Of course!" she says, and jumps to her feet to follow Persephone.
