Have you read anything by her, Marieke? I read some of her short stories and was very impressed. I do have Night Dancer but have not read it yet. Will do hopefully soon.

I have read On Black Sisters Street: A Novel.It looks at four very different women in different circumstances and different reasons for wanting to immigrant to Europe and how they ended in the same "brothel" in Belgium.
Sexual slavery is worldwide and big business and is the focus of this storyline along with the hopes, fears, and hearts of the four women.
