Dancing in the Minefields
Maribeth Ditmars

Dancing in the Minefields: One Woman’s Faith Journey through Child-loss, Addiction, and Adversity by Maribeth Ditmars reveals her personal journey of faith through life’s most heart-wrenching of events. Rob and Maribeth were like any other young couple starting a family. Maribeth had envisioned a perfect life and a healthy family. Yet, when tragedy struck in the form of childhood leukemia in their eldest son, Chris, life dramatically changed forever.

Through the minefields of childhood cancer they persevered. The battle was a life and death struggle. Adversity took its toll on this family in many different forms, namely alcoholism with Maribeth and her husband, which slowly eroded their marriage. Then addiction became their daughter’s choice and eventually, her master. In her poignant, touching, and candid testimony, Maribeth opens her heart, offering faith and hope to those that have experienced child-loss and dealt with addiction. In sharing this beautiful story, she hopes that through the storms of adversity others will see triumph through Jesus.

Despite these trials, even in the midst of death, God was with this family. Maribeth openly admits that before Chris’s diagnosis, being a Christian was only an obligation. Her humor is revealed in her snappy quips that capture the essence of her spiritual state. As such, her book reveals her progression through 12 step programs and the precious faith that Chris displayed in his battle.

Each chapter begins with a powerful scripture verse that describes each phase of her struggle, truly making one understand the truth of God’s Word. As she elaborates on the timeline of their story, her writing speaks to the many parents, friends, sisters, brothers, etc., that have grappled with these types of life storms. She eloquently, yet matter of factly, offers her struggles and solutions regarding dependency on alcohol, child-loss, and marital stress.

As intimacy with God is developed and transformation begins to bud, her book tells the progress of going from faltering faith to a powerful faith that withstands the trials.

Dancing in the Minefields is one of those books that will touch your mind, spirit and heart, allowing faith and hope to come, despite death. For those that have lost loved ones, her book offers practical tips on finding strength in God despite the tragedies of this fallen world. This book can also be used as a ministry tool to give to others that are suffering through cancer, grief and addiction.

Keep in mind that this book speaks to readers to not give up, reach out to others in their suffering, reach out to others in your own suffering and most of all to remember that God can heal, save, and deliver. She points others to the eternity of Heaven and helps those who have lost ones to remember that they will see them again. I truly appreciate and love this book! You will too.

This book comes highly recommended for all that have suffered through loss of children, addiction, and/or grief. A CBM Christian Book Review

How to Go from Broken to Blest by Adele M. Gill is an easy-to-read 6-Step practical guide based on Biblical principles and sound wisdom as a lifelong Christian mentor. This study guide addresses many life issues that we all deal with from time to time.

The author has also expanded her book to include the fear and anxiety caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. With that said, this is a phenomenal book giving readers understanding of how to move forward in faith, leaning on Jesus as their anchor of hope in life, and to go from broken to blest.

Jesus says he desires us to have an abundant life – but some wonder “how” to get there. This book speaks to such issues as learning to be worry and fear free, to avoid toxic people, forgiveness, accepting of the past, and learning to let go to find freedom mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. In doing so, the author highlights salvation as a key ingredient to finding peace, enjoyment, and the abundant life Jesus died to give all.

The 6 Steps Include: Acknowledge You’re Struggling, Put Aside All Worry and Fear, Recognize Your Greatest Source, Forgive and Take the High Road, Learn to Accept Imperfections, Embrace Your Healings, with a Six Week Small Group Discussion Guide & Book Reviews give readers or a small group the blueprint to healing.

This book comes highly recommended for individuals, small group sessions at home, or within church settings. Additionally, pastors, counselors, marriage and family counselors might want to keep copies to give to their parishioners or clients.

As a Christian, this short book gave me the tools and the “how to” go about living the blest life centered on Jesus, trusting in my “Greatest Resource.” Yet, this study guide is NOT for just Christians. I would also whole heartedly recommend this book for those that are struggling with life in general and to those who need encouragement during these turbulent times. Even those who are struggling with drugs and/or alcohol would benefit from this book. ~ A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Beware of Wolves They Are Present Even in the Church by J. Jai Brown

Beware of Wolves (They are Present Even in the Church) by J. Jai Brown will shock readers by giving a powerful Christian storyline that is compelling, seeming unbelievable, yet to only discover TRUTH as the core of the book, as the author writes of her nightmare personal testimony that she lived for twenty years dealing with such a “wolf”. Beware of wolves reveals those who are masquerading amongst the flock of God as sheep; yet are, as the Bible says, “ravenous wolves”. This book is written to warn and help readers to recognize tell-tale signs and behaviors of the “social predator” that lurks behind church walls and false facades.

This book is written as an exposé of the nature/behavioral patterns of the wolf that is also considered a “sociopath,” to include those within the Church and sheepfold. The author’s words to those that run into these wolves, which are characterized by certain behavior, is to RUN…FAST – They are dangerous. Divided into 7 sections, her book encompasses Jesus’ warning from the Bible, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves,” (Matthew 7:15 NKJV). Further stating, “You will know that them by their fruits shall ye know them.” (Matthew 7:16 NKJV).

Furthermore, her research and information given is reliable as it comes, she first gives the definition of a sociopath according to the generally accepted resource, The Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Coupled with the definition of a sociopath, this book gives fascinating information, exposing that 1 in 25 people in America are narcissistic.

Although this book is a fantasy, her book is derived from a real life experience that destroyed her confidence in herself and robbed her of all human dignity and decency, which took years to recover from. She writes this book so that you may have knowledge that there are predators parading around in society as complete narcissists, seeking whom they may devour.

#1 Best Seller on Amazon

Dare to Live Greatly: The Courage to Live a Powerful Christian Life by L.C. Fowler is a fantastic and uplifting memoir and guidebook chronicling a tadpole’s beginnings into a fearless Special Warfare Community. Fowler encourages readers to live a powerful Christian life through his lessons learned as a Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL (BUD/S) training in 1977 in Coronado, California. His book is more than a telling of life in the BUD/S training; his book gives others the motivation and insight they need to push forward to thrive beyond life’s fears and comfort zones.

Readers will discover that a heartfelt attitude of overcome means just that…to overcome until you win…whatever the cost and that giving up is not an option, nor is just surviving – TO THRIVE is the goal. His book is a solutions-based to some of life’s greatest obstacles.

Coupled with great quotes from noteworthy evangelists like Billy Graham and memorable sayings that give deep insight from those who have gone before us, he poses a unique question within this, What are you starving for? We should all be starving for something worthwhile. ~ is his answer.

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Doomed Christianity & The Unshakable Lifeline Grace Is Not Un-Deserved Favor but ... by Dr. Danson Enogiomwan Ubebe

Doomed Christianity & The Unshakable Life Line: Grace is Not Undeserved Favor, But … refers to a book written to expose the difference between what has become modern-day Christianity with what the Scripture says Christianity actually is.

Christianity today has become what can God do for me, instead of what I am to do for God. Pursuing godly purposes has now been intertwined with the pursuit of wealth, security and a way to eternal life that the Scriptures do not preach.

Dr. Danson Ubebe refers to the first century Christians that only preached Christ crucified and recognized Jesus as the Shepherd who came to fulfill the Prophets and the Law. Somehow, Old Testament and New Testament teachings have now been woven together such as, “the chair of Moses, tithing, fasting from abstinence from food, and other traditions of the Law,” per the author. In this book, the author presents Scripture’s perspective vs. man’s perspective, offering the truth vs. a variation of truth. Dr. Danson E. Ubebe asks readers to choose for themselves after reading Scripture, as referred to in Deuteronomy 30:19, “…therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live,” asking a poignant question, what is the truth? Therefore, readers can delve into this book to find truth, read the Bible for themselves and discover the teachings on eternal life, salvation and the way of truth.

Readers might ask themselves, what is the way of truth? As the author points out, the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is the way of truth. One would have to read what the Bible speaks on these matters to become more Christ-like and as such, the author provides a format for the building of Christ-like character that includes “holiness”. Specifically mentioning the role of the Holy Spirit as “the anointing,” the author concisely takes the readers through Biblical discourse back to the beginning of creation, Adam and Eve, the Fall of man, and God’s purpose for creating man, helping readers understand the brevity of the matter and the inerrant spoken Word of God as eternal. All want eternal life, but there is only one way, as the Scriptures will prove what is acceptable according to Scripture versus man’s opinion.

As noted, the role of the Holy Spirit to interpret Scripture and lack of knowledge of Scripture has left a void, even a vacuum that some may explain as a giant pit, and a dark hole which from there is no return.

Within this book, he urges all to become a “student” of the Word and to look into the Bible for themselves to find truth. His teachings are Biblically sound and this book tells the truth that today’s Christian preachers, pastors and those who teach the Bible have made Christianity a huge platform for their own enterprise. (This attitude does not pertain to every person preaching, but involves a large share of those that might use His Gospel for their own profit.) This is not what Jesus preached in His Gospel and not what He intended. The Gospel is not a get rich scheme.

This book comes highly recommended for those willing to search deeper and wider to find true understanding of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. A great read for all Christians, whether new or mature alike, as it contains solid Biblical teaching, not derived from man’s opinion, but offers a Biblical foundation from Scripture.

A highly recommended read for all that are searching for truth! ~ A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Matzah Balls to Communion Wafers How a Not So Kosher Jewish Girl Fell In Love with Jesus by Gail Baker

Matzah Balls to Communion Wafers is an excellent and intriguing memoir peering into the depths of a woman’s soul torn by worldly and religious culture, family heritage, and anti-semitism, thus revealing a steady quest for knowledge and truth in the light of the love of God. ~ CBM Christian Book Reviews

Gail Baker pens a delightful and life-enriching memoir. Filled with memorable familial insights and battles, Gail Baker relates her common Jewish family, bridging the gap between tradition and faith as a Jewish woman.

Raised as a Jewish girl amongst many Christians, Gail Baker grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. Blending a tenacious personality, humor, and candor, her intelligence and analytical abilities shine throughout the book. A timeline of poignant moments from childhood to adulthood defined and shaped her family, her life and some of her outcomes. Lovingly speaking of her family roots and history, her story unfolds as a young girl coming of age. Insights and highlights shed light into the beliefs of her Jewish family, the era they lived in and Jewish resolve and unity from her family’s effortless support of humanitarian efforts, to include the establishment of Israel as a nation in 1967.

I found myself not able to put down her memoir. As I read of the turbulent 60’s during her days in college, she reflects back on her upbringing that relates dysfunction on many levels. Despite, Judaism (which played a nominal role in Gail’s young life), she describes a young girl cloistered by the knowledge of anti-semitism and shallow Christianity. This led to a voracious pursuit of philosophical and theological dictum that bring about understanding of the ideals she has come to know. She shares these perspectives, quotes, scripture verses and insight that gives her book texture and depth. She relates a deep spiritual journey that led to a splendid concession of simply coming to the only One that could bring peace to her soul, Jesus Christ.

With such harmony, she summarizes misconceptions, anxiety, fear, faith and the issues with raising a child that came into difficulty. She also fervently describes her loving pursuit in helping her son, in which her mother’s heart is revealed in such a tender way.

What readers will find is that woven within the tapestry of her book springs forth a deep spiritual conviction to find Truth. This book will move readers deep within their soul, build faith and inspire admiration for God’s chosen people. Her sculpted memoir relates grace and intensity simultaneously. Her story culminates in a wonderful and beautiful love story from a “not-so Kosher Jewish girl that fell in love with Jesus.”

This is an incredibly touching memoir that all will not want to miss!

Matzah Balls to Communion Wafers comes as a highly recommended read for all Christians and Jewish individuals, especially to those that perhaps may be grappling with faith, tradition and religion. Purely enjoyable!

Thank you Gail for sharing your life with us! A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Pathway to Promise - Learning to Overcome by James Brunetto

Simply put, this book is a blessing! Pathway to Promise: Learning to Overcome by James Brunetto is an amazing short and easy-to-understand ten chapter lesson guide designed to help one learn to move forward when one has become stuck, disillusioned, disappointed, etc. in their God-given mandate that seems to be more of an impossibility.

Written by a pastor with much life experience and wisdom, he gives readers the tools and Biblical teaching that makes being a powerful person of faith and learning to be an overcomer attainable.

The author explains that waiting for the promises are not what one is to do, but running after them and moving forward, is the only way to learn to overcome. This book will change and transform your life that brings eternal rewards. He encourages all Christians that each person has a life mission and God-given mandate, yet so many give up when difficulties come. His word to you in this book is…Learn how to overcome and make the promises of God a reality in your life!”

Encapsulated within the 10 short chapters, the author presents a “pathway to the promises” that will renovate readers’ thinking (and doing). He states that so many have given up, settled for “complacency and mediocrity”. His book offers new hope and a new life to the promises of God with such valuable chapters as: Learn to Overcome, Value the Valley, Develop a Breakthrough Attitude, Build Momentum, Learn to Engage, Learn to Move in Power, Be a Person of Faith, Be a Person of Prayer, Be a Person of the Spirit, & Be a Person of Sacrifice. Readers will find this book to be a catalyst to lift them out of their struggles, enemy attacks, and disappointment that also ushers in fresh vision, focus, encouragement and hope that lead to mission and ministry coming into fruition.

I cannot recommend this book enough! Aspects of prayer, faith, and holiness shed light on a surprising read that includes such powerful lessons, insights and treasures from the Bible. He teaches from experience and assists readers to help them grab onto God, gain momentum in God’s ways and His promises. Hope and faith come alive. Such Biblical heroes bring great hope and faith, such as: David, Apostle Paul, the Disciples, all springing forth from the ministry of Jesus.

Throughout his book, the author has given the roadmap to “failure is not an option.” And within such, revealing the nature of Satan and his temptations, as a mere twisting of the truth…bringing in deception. He makes an eye-opening statement in the later chapter, “Every temptation is Satan’s invitation to do things your own way instead of God’s way.” This is an incredible statement for those who would be willing to apply understanding. Within that, he offers snapshots and a chapter in the book revealing the enemy’s tactics as the “Tempter” and “Accuser of the Brethren” that showcase classic strategies of Satan, unveiling examples of compromise that are written in the Bible, so that readers can glean from these important lessons. Highlighting holiness, hope and faith are crucial elements that promote walking by the Spirit, make this a valuable and informative without complicating the matter.

This author offers truth from a Biblical perspective to propel readers into their God-given mission.

This is an incredibly timely and well-written book that shares such valuable teachings and comes highly recommended for all Christians, whether a new or mature believer. Thank you Pastor Brunetto for sharing this insight and offering a Pathway to Promise! ~ A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments The Sword of Solomon by Nick Gasaway

The Sword of Solomon by Nick Gasaway is an explorative piece relating the story of King David and his son, Solomon in the Bible through a presentation of a “modern-day depiction of good vs. evil.” Fast-paced and imaginative, the question that comes forth from the book is one of choice…will you accept Jesus or reject Him?

First following a Biblical parallel from King David and Solomon, these modern-day characters highlight Solomon, the world’s first trillionaire. Blessed with incredible wisdom and ingenuity, riches and corporate know-how, Solomon is led to focusing on his father’s (David’s) journal. Solomon’s reflection, admiration and perspective of his father give life to David’s accomplishments before he died. Looking back, Solomon vows to keep track of all who helped his father David (just as the King David honored Jonathan’s descendants in Scripture).

With a woven tapestry of descriptive imagery, readers from the beginning are given a glimpse of the immensity of not only Solomon’s wealth and prestige, but his deep desire for the things of God, including his integrity as his father’s son. Much like, what we see in the Bible coming from King David and Solomon (who asked for only wisdom, yet was granted wisdom and riches by the Lord). Solomon is a wise man dedicated to the fulfilling the Lord’s purpose for him.

His father, David, was a military hero, his sword that hung steadfastly on the wall in Solomon’s study, lends to incredible significance, but also as a memorial to his father, David. Intriguing sub-plots of a DNA activated crystal, including End Time scenarios of a one world government, leading to a global economic breakdown leading to a global economy under a global leader sheds light into possible End Time scenarios that gain strength in the end of the book. Inclusion of inspiring and profound scripture verses, memorable sayings garnered from such famous individuals such as: Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, George S. Patton, also create a vividly clear picture that shares a fascinating and progressive story.

Notably, this book was written to impact others in a profound way…and asks, “Are you ready? Prepare for I am coming soon.” This was spoken to the author, coupled with a dream, gave him the inspiration to writing this book..

Highly recommended for those that like Christian fiction novels that give hope, light and peace in choosing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And for all those warriors and military buffs out there…you’ll love this book! ~ A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments What Has Been Will Be Again by Russell Nickel

Coming against deception in these Last Days is the author’s main goal that is displayed through scriptural teaching about past events that we (as human beings) need to understand about God, His nature, sin and deception that will protect us in the future days in the Church, as well as our eternal destiny.

Easy-to-read and understand, the author has spent decades studying the Bible, and has based his book on the scripture verse in Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, is that which shall be; and that which is done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” Relating rich Biblical history and prophecy, the author states his brief explanation of his book, “In this book I will reveal what the scripture is trying to communicate to us about the past, the present, and what types of events are coming in the future.” Therefore, the author begins by taking readers into an “in-depth” review of several Old Testament events; then relates how these past events cast a prophetic shadow of what is to come in the future as revealed prophetically by the Bible.

This is an amazing read as the author discerns these past events that are written to us as warnings. Unfortunately, as the author reiterates…history can repeat itself and that if nations, peoples and cultures, to include entire civilizations, don’t learn from the past, their future is doomed. Furthermore, this book reveals that these future events also are related to us as warnings from the New Testament and are also given in John’s book of Revelations.

For Christians this is an adventure into Scripture that relates how prophecy is given throughout the Bible, suddenly things will make sense and answers will given. For the new believer, this book educates. For the unbeliever, sceptics or those who doubt God’s Word, this book will open eyes to the truth of God’s Word and its prophetic nature…revealing to all the spiritual battle that ensues as an invisible force, giving much understanding.

As such, his book also advocates to readers to be of those who would search Scripture to be of a “Berean spirit” (As stated in Acts 17:11, which is those who search the Scriptures themselves, discerning truth from deception), he encourages all to be of this same Berean spirit. His book helps those who endeavour to know the truth of the Word of God versus Satanic deception is a very real thing. His book states that one must know the Scriptures for themselves, lest they be deceived as the Bible speaks.

With such chapters as: The Journey Begins, The Two Seeds, God Wipes the Slate Clean, The Sons of God, A Question From Abraham, Bricks Without Straw, Nothing New Under the Sun, And They Became Fools, Who Receives a Reward, Twice Dead, A Form of Godliness, The Day of Great Tribulation, & Hope for the Overcome. This book comes as a highly recommended read as the author has over 25 years of studying this material, with quite thousands of hours of research, he has connected the dots to the past to reveal intriguing truths, warnings and deception that is to come. This book is a must-read for all Christians to understand that “What Has Been Will Be Again.” ~ A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Words Unspoken by Tronell Walker

Tronell Walker writes her life memoir to encourage all to look to the Lord to find purpose in their own journey of life. Tronell’s childhood started out as any normal kid. She was full of life and joy; yet, seeds were sown into her life that created issues, tempted her with sin, coupled with childhood abuse, that led her down the wrong path. Her journey is one that speaks of unspoken words, thoughts, intentions and the distractions throughout her life that led to wrong choices and destructive paths. Her book culminates in the fact that God was always watching over her, and eventually, He led her to walk out of the shadows, until she found light in Him. She wants others to know the joys of living a new life in Christ, giving her own testimony as a testament to that.

Describing the high’s, the low’s, the family pressure, her low self-esteem, Tronell grew up in the 70’s in a large family in Destrehan, Louisiana. As time passed, she was like any other kid that had hopes, dreams and talents that were slowly stolen, replaced by a life of sin leading her astray. With such chapters as: The Beginning, Stolen Innocence, Building Blocks, Love Changes Things, Blessings in Disguise, A Mother’s Love, Struggles, Shape Shifter, Rebirth, Purpose, Enjoying the Walk & The Conclusion: Perfectly Flawed, she displays to readers that it’s never too late!

Readers will be able to relate to growing up in this era, along with plenty of humor, respect for love of family and memorable sayings, coupled with words of inspiration, encouragement, Scripture and wisdom that make this a memorable book.

This book comes highly recommended to those searching for purpose and peace and serves as an inspirational book for those (especially single parents), to seek God and live with a purpose. A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Big Bang Theology God's Purpose for Creation by Dr.Wm D'Leoni

Why am I here? What is my purpose? Who is God and what is a spiritual reboot? The author makes his book fun and interesting, while giving a biblical foundation to those that wonder what God’s purpose is for Creation and mankind.

A wonderful, well-rounded, biblical read that has the potential to reach those Millennials out there for Christ without boring them to death! Well done!

Intertwined with faith-building guidance and Scripture, the book is easily divided into 6 chapters such as: The Purpose of Creation, Big Bang Love, Big Bang Faith, Big Bang Hope, Big Bang Reverberations and Big Bang Ruminations. The author offers a fantastic read that helps readers fully understand faith, hope, eternal life, not being conformed to the world’s standards that give sound advice to readers. The author offers a keen biblical understanding to being born again, accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, the realities on Heaven and Hell, offering a real-life guide as to how to live life according to God’s ways, not man’s. The author writes with many years of wisdom, explaining in layman’s terms in such a way, this book will surely grab youths’ attention. For example, The Most Expensive Christmas Present, is the author’s way of speaking loud and clear to our youth about the birth of Jesus Christ and why this present is so important to them. Reading his book is like getting sound advice, in an interesting way, from a wise old grandfather.

Big Bang Theology: God’s Purpose for Creation by Dr. WM D’Leoni offers readers (college age and above) insight into God’s purpose for their lives. With a creative twist, the book is named, dubbed after the Evolutionist’s Big Bang, recalibrated into theBig Bang Theology. Written in Epistle form (letter format), like the Epistles in the Bible, the author, a college professor speaks to his audience in the hopes that they will find salvation and purpose for their lives.

For several reasons listed in the book, the author has a clear purpose in writing to his targeted audience (his past and present) collage age and young adult students. Mainly, he wants others to understand their purpose and live fully as God intended, alive to the Spirit and saved.

This book comes highly recommended for not only “Big Bang Theory” fans (the author’s personal favorite TV show), but the many college age students who want to understand what their place and purpose is in all of God’s great Creation. ~ A CBM Christian Book Review

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments The Tiger's Eye, Angels in Mumbai (Global Calling Series, #2) by Scott B Delaney

The Tiger’s Eye: Angels in Mumbai by Scott B. Delany is a full throttle, Christian-based fictional thrill ride. The author inspires readers to look up to God, follow the calling of God for their lives, and reminds us all that angels are a very present help in times of trouble.

The Global Calling Organization is a Christian Evangelical outreach during the end time harvest. India is their next target and calling from God. India, as the author describes is a beautiful and mysterious land, filled with many Gods, cultural diversity, and many religions, one in which is an anti-Christian Muslim movement. Global Calling plans a stadium event that would be touching hundreds of thousands with the love and saving power of God, the only One True God. The supernatural battle begins as darkness clashes with the light in a well-planned terrorist attack.

The author delves into a new level of understanding into the evil that pervades the mindset of terrorist activity, shedding light on the unseen realm, all lending to the credibility of the storyline. The book is believable, offering a peer into the angelic presence and protection that the Bible speaks of to those who believe. Experiencing a supernatural encounter and change of heart, a young terrorist, formerly involved in the mayhem and bloodshed, becomes a key agent in bringing about justice. Culminating in a fantastic fast-paced, but believable epic, the author makes readers feel as if they were experiencing the visuals, smells, and colors from his vast descriptiveness inspired from his many travels to India. Page-by-page readers will not be disappointed.

Scott B. Delaney is one of those author’s who knows how to write a book that holds one’s interest through an enjoyable read. Each and every character comes to life. He drafts a well-organized book with the use of time frame itineraries, famous author quotes and Bible verses give deep meaning, providing “food for thought” to the readers.

This book comes as a highly recommended must-read Christian-based fictional series!

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments The Classroom Called Life by Darren Bennett The Classroom Called Life by Darren Bennett is a collection of 40 life lessons from the author’s life and experiences. With a wonderful and delightful Christian perspective, witty quotes complement his short stories that tie into each “Life Lesson.”

Writing from a positive and inspiring attitude on life, he shares these life lessons, coupled with a few do’s and don’ts. He speaks with candor and humility, sharing his life as an open book with others, as he endeavors to teach what he has learned in what he calls, “the classroom of life.” What else would you expect from a life-long teacher.

Readers will enjoy, being given the opportunity to reflect upon their own lives from a man who has been a high school teacher for 25 years and recently retired. Bennett seems to have a real and genuine zest to live life that is certainly catchy. Quickly, readers understand that he is an outgoing personality that appreciates God in His goodness, family, and friends. Some of his stories share laughter, joy, as he shares such details as his own conversion to Christianity, and reflects back upon the Lord’s work with great thankfulness. Certain stories wake up one’s soul. Others, are quite funny, while others will really make one think about the issues of life.

Surviving a cyclone, crocodiles, a praying friend, and a sinking ship come to mind, all memorable, yet this man’s tales, even the mundane, like visiting his old house growing up become interesting. A sprinkling of photos add to the book and each experience he shares.

My personal favorite is when he talks about the presence of God entering a busy room of kids and what happened next. God is all about winning souls, and for the most part, this story reveals God goes after the lost, the one – and one at a time. The author’s joy and humility shine through each particular life lesson.

Overall, this was a fun book to read! The author’s love for life and God give hope and will put a smile on your face. Readers will not be disappointed!

Josiah Posey | 3 comments Hey everyone, I’m Josiah! The author of the Christian novel The Theatrical Tragedy. I wrote this novel when I was 15, and after a few contracts, we decided to publish with the indie Publishing house Koehler Books. My book is about the consequences of sin, and a Portrayal of how sin takes hold of people, how far it will take them, and how long it will keep them if one doesn’t repent. Here’s a brief back cover description Doctor Akel Rose is a genius, but he feels like he’s already learned everything. Subjects that once interested him have become dull, and all the doctor wants is for life to have color again. After discovering a dusty old Bible in his driveway, the doctor’s fascination with the world is rekindled. And when otherworldly spirits contact the doctor, his passion for power is ignited, and his thirst for knowledge becomes unquenchable. Finding a new interest in sorcery, a demon that keeps him on his toes, and intentions of creating a world free of evil, the doctor sets off on a mission with his newfound power- but will it be enough? The Theatrical Tragedy will take you headlong into a new fight between right and wrong and the consequences of choices as it traces the rise and fall of a man who claimed to be a god on a quest that questions the morality of human virtue and the ideology of justice. Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 468 comments Cracking the Bridal Code to Transformaton From Genesis to Revelation God's Heart is Set on a Bride. This is Her Story. by Debra Webster
Cracking the Bridle Code to Transformation by Debra Webster is a fascinating and in-depth look into God’s design for the Bride of Christ from Genesis to Revelation. Revealing great insight into these bridal truths in Scripture brings great clarity and intimacy with Christ. She states, “Much of the Church knows almost nothing about being the bride of God. The purpose of this book is to fix that problem.” With that in mind, Debra Webster unlocks the bridal code to bring forth transformation.

Beginning with the fall in Eden and separation from God, her book unveils the longing of the Bride. She states that freedom from the bondage of slavery from Eden brings Lordship to Christ. Shame is broken and intimacy is restored. Engaging, this book is not a fictional story, but truth unveiled from the Scriptures. Some are hidden, some are plain to see, yet only for those who truly seek Him (Jesus). Webster quotes Jerimiah 29:11, “If you seek me you will find me if you search for me with all your heart." Further stating, “He has been waiting for centuries to be known by her. She not only desires Him above all else, but she finds obedience a joy.”

The author has written to those who want to find Him, know Him, and hear His voice! The author has brought forth an amazing teaching that gives great insight into Scripture, God’s desire from the beginning of time to your own desire, and for those who seek God wholeheartedly. This is the remnant, the Bride of Christ, that is to be the Lamb’s wife.

A truly amazing book and teaching about the Bridal Journey to Transformation!
