April Group Read Nominations!

(Just click: add book/author, locate your book, and then go to the bottom and click cover instead of link.)
Let's keep these noms going, I love to see all the different tales you all are coming up with!

I'll accept Ring, yes.
Ring is pink, but it's not available in e-book format so in the past we have disqualified it due to limited availability. Up to Char whether it will be included in the poll.

Thanks for the heads-up! I would love to read that, but yes if not available won't go for that one.

Not sure how you have Ring on Kindle, unless they offered it at one time, because currently the only available Kindle edition is in French, unless that's the one you have.

are NOT eligible. HBD was a group read in January 2021, and Ghostland was read in December 2019.
**Also, please read the description of the theme: SPRING COLORS. Some of these (for example
) are NOT Spring colors. **

& ok so some of the covers may be too muted/vague for the "spring" theme? idk. as with each colour - I wasn't sure what the cut off between "yeah this is spring right here" and "naw this ain't spring". I'm not gonna try to figure out on my own since- as i indicated earlier- i'm super indecisive so i'd have been just staring at each cover for like 10+ mins hmm-ing and haww-ing about whether it was "spring-y" enough or not lol.

I'ts great that you thought of so many books with the right colors, but this is not a contest to see who can nominate the most books.
This is meant as a friendly tip to all participants.
The idea is to nominate a book or two that you're really dying to read, that fit the month's theme, and that have a good shot of receiving votes If you nominated 10, 15, 30 books, all you do is water down the pool and make it less likely the books you're eager to read will even make the poll, let alone win.
Best advice: pick 1-3 titles you want to read most and only nominate them. The less competition, the greater the odds of success.
And if you're +1ing books, the same holds true. Stick to the 2 or 3 you'd MOST like to read and +1 them to increase their chances of winning over books you're less interested in.
(And when nominating and +1 ing books, you don't need to make a separate post each time. You can post "I +1 Book A, Book B and Book C" all in one post.)

Animal Man, Volume 1: The Hunt
by Jeff Lemire
It's free on kindle unlimited.
If anyone wants to read something different I would really recommend this. Gorey and horror with a dark storyline.
Perfect for anyone that wants to read a horror Graphic novel

My pleasure, Jason! I actually met Mats Strandberg at a reading a couple of years ago and he was the nicest person ever, wanted to read something by him after that :)

Not only do we have the green background cover art...but we have the main theme of Spring...growing!!!
This is on my too read list and I would love to have some fellow Aficionados join me as we spring into action, growing our horror anthology library and perhaps this blooms into a spectacular read.

The theme for April will be Spring Colors!
We are looking for HORROR books that have a cover which is primarily yellow, pink, purple, or green. In your nomination post, please post the cover of the book, the title and the author.
Feel free to second or third someone else's nomination! The more noms, the more likely a book will make it to the final poll. This poll will be open until midnight EST on Thursday, March 18th.
If this is your first time nominating reads, you can find the rules here:
