Sarah's Key question

Trying to find titles of books from past 5-10 yrs about a family secret connected to World War II (or any war) -- not connected with spies, preferably, not a romance or 'chick lit' in style -- something along the lines of Sarah's Key. Particularly interested in titles WITHOUT any of these features: guns/violence/torture/chase scenes. Thanks in advance!
