Hi everyone, I'm David Vanderpool. I'm a medical missionary, living full-time in Thomazeau, Haiti. I've published a book about our journey from living in the US as a surgeon to a medical missionary in Haiti titled, Live Beyond: A Radical Call to Surrender and Serve. It's available on Amazon and I'd love some reviews.

Living in Haiti full-time means periodic power outages and less than optimal internet access but I hope to be a fruitful member of this group. Blessings

I am amazed by your story and I haven't even read it yet! Thank you for being willing to give up what sounds like a promising career in the world's eyes in order to go to Haiti as a missionary. Your decision is inspiring to so many I am sure!
