We're just going to skip right over the fact I forgot to make a 20,000 Leagues thread last month. (Seriously, if anyone wants to discuss that book here, let me know and I'll make a thread.)

Courtney | 49 comments I feel dense that I couldn't figure it out, but Google tells me that "paynim" is an archaic version of "pagan." Throwing it out there in case anyone else was confused! (This is in the Dorothy Sayers translation.)
