60 Indian Poets edited by Jeet Thayil
Crime & Punishment by Fyodor Doestovsky
So far I am reading The Girl Who Saved the King of Sweden, The Well of Lost Plots, The Maltese Falcon,and The Elementary Particles. I'm enjoying The Maltese Falcon more than I thought I would. I never saw the movie and have only a vague idea of the plot. Anyone have any book recommendations? I'm always searching for new titles to add to my growing library.
I'm currently reading Laurinda by Alice Pung . And plan to read next The Good Girl byMary Kubica and The Promise by Tony Birch
Currently reading Things Fall Apart, War and Peace, and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Also plan on Double Indemnity and Go Tell It on the Mountain.

Following up with cloud atlas
This February I will be reading more of Agatha Christie, Sense and Sensibility by J. Austen and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen by Paul Torday.
The Goldenfinch by Donna Tartt and second book in the Department Q Series by Adler Olsen: "The absent one"mystery /thriller is always on my reading shelf
and some YA Novel City of Ashes (pls don't blame me on that one)
changed my mind. cloud atlas was driving me bonkers so i read the invisible man instead followed by the vision by dean koontz. now reading storm of swords by george martin. depending how long this takes will read dreams of gods and monsters

I like Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument series. Feelin' no shame. Good stuff.
The Hobbit! And this other one that is an introduction to yoga, Pilates, meditation and stress relief!
I'm rading A Tale of Two Cities. It's a bit harder to understand than other books by Dickens I've read in English and also more centered around what's happening instead of the characters. Quite un-Dickensian.
Reading The Red Tent. The story itself is a fascinating look into the lives of women, although I'm not sure how accurate the facts are. It's something I would like to learn more about, on a more factual and scholarly level. Also reading Notes from Underground and The New York Stories of Edith Wharton.
Decided quicker to read dreams of gods and monsters. Loved it. For some mad reason then read fifty shades of grey. Hated it. Now reading the visitor by lee child. Will follow up with saturday by ian mcewan and Storm of swords.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is great. I read it last year and really enjoyed it.
Beautiful book, a classic. Poignant, honest.
I'm getting close to the end of Ice Road by Gillian Slovo. I'm really enjoying it. Long... but good. Prio to that I ploughed through Middlesex. So I'm looking forward to a book that's less than 500pp - Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk is next on my list.
