What do you think after reading this chapter?

Sarah | 40 comments I love that the 800 year old son of the Emperor from an elite class of elf warriors is the worst fighter and is trying to fit it in with this band of brothers. Great stuff.

Jeremy | 3 comments I'm starting to wonder if Trilos was the being from Death of Dulgath who swapped bodies

Alison Mahdak | 11 comments I envisioned a feather falling from the sky when hearing of the meddling of the One.

I also loved how Nolyn goes from being referred to as one of “them” in a negative way (half breed or Instariya) to being one of them in an inclusive, familial way.

Hannah Forsyth | 11 comments This chapter was good fun. I don’t recall anyone believing in a monotheistic deity in any of the other books, is this new?

Amber (abear129) | 4 comments @Alison I agree completely!

The being from Death of Dulgath, who swapped bodies, was (view spoiler) from the "The Legends" ;)

Hmm, I don't think he was really the worst fighter among them. Don't forget we are watching this from his POV (i.e. - we are inside his head)... and I think he is just being modest, even in his own thoughts. :) He is actually a much better fighter than he gives himself credit for (proven also by how he managed to survive so many centuries, even after in his youth he was sent to wars against the giants, etc.) Granted - he might not be better than those couple of guys in his squadron that are actual Teshlors (though they haven't named themselves that yet, at this point LOL), but I bet he is better than all of the others; due to all of those years of actual war experience, if nothing else.
