I can't pick between the two. Emilia Clark was a perfect casting as Lou. The book made me cry more for sure. The movie doesn't deal with the sexual violence like the book does.

I saw the movie a few times before I read the book and it was still a great read.

This is one that I never planned on reading the book. So I've seen the movie. I finally bought a copy of the book when it popped up in the thriftstore. It will be a while before I read it I think.
