Let's discuss some of our favorite romances. Looking forward to seeing what you liked/didn't like about these books as well as your general thoughts.

I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time recently and not having read any Austen before was surprised at how funny I found it.

I like romance in a novel, but I prefer when the book concentrates on the story line and the romance is just the cherry on the cake if you know what I mean.
I feel Pride and Prejudice is an excellent novel and maybefor its day, it was just a romance, but now it is a history of life back when people were actually polite to one another.
