I enjoyed this story. I wish Harris let us see Hero's reaction to Sebastian taking in the baby. I wonder if they will adopt Patrick or raise him as Simon's cousin. Their family is growing quickly, Tom, Simon, Molly, and Patrick. This is going to make for more exciting discoveries in the future.

I can't wait for the trip to France to find Sebastian's mother. That has the potential to be an emotional story.

I have a couple questions.

What did you think of the conversation between Sebastian and Jarvis about his mother? Why is Jarvis interested? Is his mother working as a spy for Jarvis? Was something going on between Jarvis and her in the past? It is exciting.

I also wanted to know Hero’s reaction about Patrick, though I’m absolutely sure she’d agree with Sebastian’s decision. She wouldn’t think about it twice. And, I think they’ll raise him as Simon’s cousin. Sebastian would want him to know about his father.

There’s so much intrigue about Sebastian’s mother, Sophie. I hadn’t thought about a connection to Jarvis but you raise an interesting supposition. There’s not much Jarvis doesn’t know about but knowing all this info about Sophie’s current whereabouts was curious. And why is she staying away?

It’s going to be an explosive story.

I agree with you. I don't think Hero would think twice about accepting the baby into the house. I think Claire will be excited too. Not that another baby can replace the ones she lost, but I bet it is good for her.

Ooh! I forgot about the impact on Claire. It definitely has to be some kind of balm.
