She stared at her necklace. Slowly the sliver of stone's power was decreasing leaving her weak. She pressed her hand around it, fighting back tears. She needed to find the rest of the Reality stone before the Aether completely disappeared...or...
Suddenly, the stone dimmed considerably. Clutching her chest, she began coughing hard. Holding onto a trunk for support, she coughed up blood onto the ground. "Wh..." She put her hand to her mouth, blood coming off onto her hand
Coughing more, she slid to the ground, more blood coming up.

Coughing more she kept her hand around her stone (Normally the stone pulses with energy but right now its barely even glowing.) "I don...'t understand...why is this still happening to me...its not..."

"What?" Her hand let go, the sliver was barely pulsing

"Does that mean that I..."

The Aether's form was quavering near the shadow's edge. "I think I know where it went, it likes the dark."
(the rest of the stone is back in Midgard at the HYDRA base. Esmerelda was planning on making more of it.)

Loki went to the base
Amber was barely breathing, praying Loki would be on time. The stone pulsed once more before dimming completely. With one last painful cough she fell still blood pouring down her lips.

The Aether sensed something off. What am I supposed to do?
Mod
She already has a piece of me. One tentacle pressed against the glass.
The stone on her necklace had darkened after Loki had left. Amber was barely breathing trying to hold out for her father

Hmm...well I can't do anything in this thing... It tapped the glass
Amber's breathing slowed so much her chest barely rose
tyler looks at the aether in the container. he grabs it and, without thinking too much, he throws it on the ground, smashing it.
The Aether finished bonding, her mark glowing.
"protect her, but don't control her. i let you out, so do me this favor."
the necklace around her neck filled out
"if she dies, i'll find you, capture you, and figure out a way to kill you. do you understand?"
"amber?" he smiles at her and walks forward. "is it really you?"
he smiles and rushes forward, kissing her.

"Daddy..." She reached for her father, pushing away from Tyler. She wanted her dad so bad.

Without restraint, she went into his arms hugging him. "You shouldn't have done that...what if they had caught you?" Tears poured down her face.

Amber buried her face in Loki's neck

(holding cell)
"I'm sorry about all this...I'm scared i'm going to lose you..." Tears fell down her face.
Mod
(She's gonna need a kidney transplant because of the abuse her mother inflicted on her. It wil happen at her farewell concert next friday.)
Exhausted she fell asleep in her fathers arms
Unconsciously, she snuggled closer into Loki's embrace.
