How do you think we can end poverty in this world?

Tax the rich more. There is no need for billionaires or millionaires to exist. Their money could fund homeless shelters, increasing the minimum wage, addiction programs, and so many other resources that'll help end poverty.

The rich should give the poor. The governments should assign a percentage and the rich should give that percentage from their earnings to the poor. The governments should organize a campaign that will enable the poor to get loans without interest. Also, the governments and the rich could spend on educating the children who wouldn't be able to get proper education due to poverty. If they get a good education, they will be able to get a good job which could help in destroying poverty.

Yes, I agree. Taxes shouldn't be super high to the point that they take a lot of your money away but they should be higher for wealthier people.

I agree, these are great ideas

as a Christian, i am appalled by the extreme republican capitalists who refuse to spread love and give to the poor and are against highly taxing the rich. for me, it's common sense. a popular argument is that "they worked hard for their money" but that's just not the truth. most of the time they're white, straight, cis dudes (at least 2 of the 4) and they're so privileged. there are immigrants who work 8 times as hard just to make minimum wage; it isn't fair. being born into money doesn't take a lot of work. cutting workers' wages short isn't a lot of work. having connections isn't a lot of work. a lot of american wealth comes from birth, luck, privilege, or all of the above. i wish people would realize this and take action.

I agree with this. Rich people can help a lot with ending poverty.

Yes, poor people often work harder and still don't earn enough.

Thank you. But the credit goes to my religion as these are the teachings of it.

Free medical treatment for people unable to pay is necessary too. The government should also try to provide basic needs like nutritious food, clean water, etc to people below the poverty line.

Education must be made free and awareness should be spread so that parents send their children to schools instead of making them go to work.

Countries which have the capacity to provide unemployment allowances should definitely provide them. A lot of money can be saved by not engaging in highly expensive projects like space programmes, when your people are dying of poverty. Governments must spend funds on eradicating extreme poverty.
