Sarah | 40 comments Who knew this antagonist could grow more vile with age? And the previous strawberry hint that left me dreading his return has come true!

Diamond | 9 comments Yes I can't stand him and he is weaved through all of these books. Such a well written antagonist...

Sabine | 20 comments Found the part about Trilos interesting and hope there are more details about that time and their plans to come up.

Thinking about the poem I’m wondering if it’s just a poem? Or if the story of the Wicked Brothers reminds on events that might be interesting for our journey? Can’t remember to have come over them until now?

Hannah Forsyth | 11 comments Mawyndule is such a whiney twat, isn’t he? What’s this hideous castle on the green sea he’s been hanging out in- and why?

Michelle (michellehartline) | 21 comments LOL, Hannah!!

Dale Lawton (dalelesnail) | 3 comments Great chapter! I love how it immediately makes it clear Mawyndule is the big baddy. Brutal.

He’s just as ignorant and hateful as we remember but it seems he’s become more sneaky, manipulative and violent. It’s bridging the gap between stupid & young Mawyndule and the older, mastermind of Revelations.

The involvement of Trilos makes a lot of sense too.

Deighton | 5 comments Love to see Mawyndule back. I went back an read his last scene in AoE,...very clever. Love the book so far. To be honest I was a a bit nervous for this series. MJS is my favorite author and was nervous to get to know a new cast of characters and setting. Well it does not dissapoint and love the heavy tie ins with the rest of Elan.

My other concern was how can he write another smash hit? I am not sure how such high quality content is consistently delivered but several chapters in and could not be more pleased.
