I love the diversity of this band of misfit soldiers! Mirk's name is fantastic. And an invisible villain who can explode people without being nearby sure keeps the tension up!

I loved the complete acceptance of Nolyn into his new family of hilarious rebels. I also love that Nolyn keeps thinning of Suri- and his memory of one of her quotes is a great one. “...his feelings were the sounds his soul heard when listening to the world singing the music of truth.”

My favorite passage of this chapter is Nolyn assuring that he’s not dead, cause his ghost would look better - really felt that cynical smile while reading. Sooo good!

I like the way, all of Nolyn’s actions and words come with emotions for me. Sometimes with a smile, another time with warm feelings, e.g. the way he’s talking about Suri, but never without an emotional reaction while reading - great job!
